Post here if you are in a DDR team or if you think DDR teams are stupid and childish. But if you are in a DDR team, then please take the time and typing the # of people that are in it. No names are necessary.

I LOVE DDR and all, but teams, maybe a bit too obsessive. (Note: I am not on a team, and yet obsessed)

I see no problem with teams. I think they're cool.

I used to be associated with a team Always In Motion but my heart told me to continue on by myself.

There are good and bad things about teams. IMO

The bad - I've seen some teams just basically want to start bad-blood rivalries and trash other teams for no reason, as if they wanted to create friction. Some teams are assholes to others because they're not a part of the team.

The good - Being in a team motivates you to do better.

I know there's more, I can't think of it right now.

I've thought of starting my own team, where it's includes 4 people in our squad who all play for fun. It be me, James, Akeen, and Joe. All of us play Heavy except James cause he changes from Standard/Heavy whenever he plays, we are all okay on Single one of us are better than other as far as scoring, and only 2 of us play does both Singles/Doubles and does well. Wanna guess who? Heh, I'm still trying figure out the name of our team. E1.gif

The whole concept of teams tends not to work in a game like this because it's not team oriented.

You can't have the team all be playing at the same time in competetion (although there are team attack tournaments, not frequently). The purpose of a team is to have players that when put together, play well as a whole because of communication and interaction. With a strong leader/coach on top of the team, instructing their moves.

Usually DDR teams are a group of friends who like to play together. I would probably use the term affiliation, instead of team. Hell, it even sounds more professional.

affiliation? It DOES sound more professional! Me and some friends (about 3 others) have a little team of our own, but we dont go around saying that we are a team. but we know that we are one. E1.gif

p.s. thanX for posting!

oh master of darkness, you know you can't escape the NE board, especially the taems

I got no problems with team/affiliations

once Rob (Inferno) gets a car, Team Conglom-o is going mobile!

there are like five members

and Master, there are only like five teams in NE that are real. Rival, Pirate, 2DR, Conglom-o, and Jade/Brown

I'm on team Tsugaru, the only official team in Tyler! All we really do is go to tourneys together, and get our butts kicked together, and after a long night playing DDR, we attack the Wendy's and act like homeless people together, throwing random stuff at people's cars!

Roster:

Leader of Team Tsugaru: Kaze (Yojimbo, #1 on the dice)
Secondary Leader: Crye (#4 on the dice)
Reserve Players:
Weep (#5 on the Dice)
Crap (#3 On the Dice)
Pink (#2 on the dice)
Bang (#6 on the dice)

i have a quick question for all of you, is it right to have tons of members on a single ddr team? Or how about only 4 members? What's your opinion?
