How, if at all possible, would you slap a set of pads on your PC? Thanks in advance for any answers. |

I heard some convertors can't recognize left and right being pressed at the same time (which could cause misses) so I assume you should configure it to be Square, X, Circle, and triangle instead of left, down, right, and up the buttons can be recognized being pressed together with any old cheap convertor... lol... why didn't they mention that in the read me file? lol |

Stepmania.com has a list of working and nonworking adapters. Buy one of the ones that have been proven to work with Stepmania.
Tsuri, unless you were playing Pump that solution would be useless.
On incompatible converters they map the directional buttons to axis instead of buttons. The buttons (X, O, triangle, square) actually get mapped to buttons. You can't change that. You can only change what the previously mapped buttons do in the program.
You could very well map X, O, triangle, square to U, D, L, R, but you would either have to turn your pad diagonal or play pump style. |
