DDR'ing in Contacts

I used to play DDR with my contacts on. I had the same problem you describe. It get's blurry, and my contacts get really dry. I don't even bother to put them on now.

As fellow contact/glasses wearer, mine start to act up as well sometimes, during long periods of non-blinkage...I'd suggest either grinning and bearing it, like my pitiful self, or bringing eyedrops, which I'm too lazy to buy.

Yeah, this has come up before in previous threads.

One guy said his optomitrist said when youre mentally focusing on something so much the natural unconscious blink reflex fires much more rarely.

I've had less problems with my contacts and DDR since I:

Started calming down while playing
Take my contacts out @ night and quit abusing them
Carry a tiny bottle of rewetting drops. Use before/in between song selection and it should get you through the next 90 seconds.

I have no problems playing DDR while wearing my contacts. I actually prefer playing DDR while wearing my contacts instead of my glasses, because my glasses always get smeared with sweat when I play with them on.
