Any of you have a DDR club at your school?

I do. It just got started a little while ago and we get pretty good attendance. We just hang out after school for an hour and a half and DDR off the school tv's. We bring our own pads and Ps2's. Some pretty fancy pads too, mind you. Anyway, it's real fun, and I feel pretty good being the second best person there. The best would be, of course, the founder of the club, and he can AA So Deep. Any of you got a DDR club at your school? That is, if any of you go to school......

i'm startin one after halloween. we gonna have a DDR HALLOWEEN GALLERIA "PARTY" and afterwards we are makin a club.

HOLY poopy! that's so weird you posted this because I was just thinking about starting a DDR club at my school! now that I know someone else started a DDR club I'm going to for sure.

I too, am the founder of a DDR club at my school. We use a school TV, ap2s MAX/MAX2, and my friends laptop with SM. As of now the only pads are my RedOctane Ignition, and a couple MadCatz softies. We are going to use, in part our funding that our club will get and do some fundraisings to buy a Cobalt Flux

I want to start one, but the thing is I'm a frosh (and who likes them?), and I don't know what we'd really do, aside from play DDR. It might be a waste of time because there's a lot of homework to get done after school most of the time. Or maybe thats my nerdiness speaking to me. I might look into it.

They probably just said "Hey, there's this game that we all love that gets us tons of excercise! It isn't violent, the majority of it isn't overtly sexual, and brings us together as a community! Can we play after school in an alcohol, drug and tobacco free environment?"

And if he says no just say, "Ok, we'll go join a gang now."

1st with most clubs all youve gotta do is get a teacher sponser
2nd We have a japanese club at my school, every once in awhile we have DDR day (the only day I go)

I don't have a DDR club at my school but i do have some student counsil thingy. They decided that it'd be good to buy an arcade machine for the cafeteria, but ofcourse being the idiots that they are, they got pump it up :O.B.G. and noone played that much so they had to sell it. Stupid schoo.

We were trying to start a DDR club at my school, but nothing would really work out with the teacher that was found to sponsor it (atleast, not from what I've heard most recently). Would be kinda cool to have a DDR club, though.

Well, trying to form a DDR club in HS and college are two very differnt things.

In HS, clubs tend to be edumacational, or benefitcial to the community.

In college, there are all sorts of clubs, so a DDR club is much more feasible.

That said, there are only about 4 people at this whole University who play Duh-Der (that I know of), so a club is out of the question.

Oh well.

There's not really a club, mind you, here. But there's a good 6-7 players at my highschool. I know there IS a club around Wilmington though, but that's a different highschool.
