I too, am the founder of a DDR club at my school. We use a school TV, ap2s MAX/MAX2, and my friends laptop with SM. As of now the only pads are my RedOctane Ignition, and a couple MadCatz softies. We are going to use, in part our funding that our club will get and do some fundraisings to buy a Cobalt Flux |

I want to start one, but the thing is I'm a frosh (and who likes them?), and I don't know what we'd really do, aside from play DDR. It might be a waste of time because there's a lot of homework to get done after school most of the time. Or maybe thats my nerdiness speaking to me. I might look into it. _________________

They probably just said "Hey, there's this game that we all love that gets us tons of excercise! It isn't violent, the majority of it isn't overtly sexual, and brings us together as a community! Can we play after school in an alcohol, drug and tobacco free environment?"
And if he says no just say, "Ok, we'll go join a gang now."

We were trying to start a DDR club at my school, but nothing would really work out with the teacher that was found to sponsor it (atleast, not from what I've heard most recently). Would be kinda cool to have a DDR club, though. |

I recently graduated, but I know the school I went to would never accept a DDR club. The school is only concerned with the performance of their terrible football team, and if it did work out, every member of the club would get canned by the preps and rednecks. Such is life in Southern MS. _________________

Well, where I am, if you shorten Dance Dance Revolution to DDR, you are consicered a freak and shunned by your fellow human kind until you do somthing to make them forget you said it.
Man, I hear about people going to my mall, but I never seem to catch them ;_; _________________

Well, trying to form a DDR club in HS and college are two very differnt things.
In HS, clubs tend to be edumacational, or benefitcial to the community.
In college, there are all sorts of clubs, so a DDR club is much more feasible.
That said, there are only about 4 people at this whole University who play Duh-Der (that I know of), so a club is out of the question.
Oh well. _________________

There's not really a club, mind you, here. But there's a good 6-7 players at my highschool. I know there IS a club around Wilmington though, but that's a different highschool. _________________
