We've all did it-at one time or another. We've all bit off a little more than we could chew at one time at least. Sometimes, songs don't go the way that we want. A good example is the song So Deep. Its a nine-stepper, and its almost impossible to dance! Even Look to the Sky-on my first time, I failed miserably and embarrassingly. But that's why this post is necessary. With this post, you can warn other dancers of the difficulty ahead. Songs that are slow and seem easy, really aren't. And fast tempo songs are always challenging. If the music goes off tempo, or has an unusual freeze, or whatever, post here.

Vanity Angel... it's the hardest song for me to FC because of all the offbeat steps..

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

Orion.78 (AMeuro mix). I forgot that this is a half-speed song the first time I tried it on heavy. Oh no!! I couldn't read it at all; it was like playing Bag on 1x. I got laughed at a bit trying to scramble to what looked like the beat. You MUST put this on 2x if you want to do at all well!! I'll never forget that again.

Good topic.

Well here are some of mine:

Leading Cyber, starts out easy, and has a really hard part in the middle that can catch you off guard, especially if you haven't done it before.

Flash in the Night, tricky begining and end, and it starts on you right away.

Afronova, it's hard to B.S. without doing the crossovers and crazy moves.

Can't Stop Falling in Love, cross over as much as you can, or else this song is a doggy.

The Least 100 sec, it says 8 feet, but it's one hard 8 footer, and it's fast.

Mikeneko Rock is also challenging the first few tries.

Be Lovin' has some crazy jumps at the end, even though it's pretty easy through the song.

Be in my paradise on doubles. those steps came out of nowhere, nothing like the singles version.

i know what u r talking about some songs are terribly off beat.i know of a few songs that r a $%*#@!But if a had to pic the one that i hate most , than it would be CARTTON HEROES hands down. who comes up with these songs anyway and why r they so hard. O and dont forget about end of the century ,i have no idea how to hit theses steps in order they r just all over the place!
BTW: so deep is only hard at first .It took me a while to get past it . the key to beating it is to play it on 1.5 speed first.notice that half way into the song (once u get past the gallops) these tripple steps start ( i have no idea of their real name)but anyway it is extremely hard to c them on normal speed and after that i cant help u anymore cuz i wont be able to explain the steps properly.but trust me u can get the stepcharts off this site, study them and just pay attention to those steps!

Gradiusic Cyber seems to veer off sync slightly at some points.

I'm so glad that someone had brought this song up! This song is a b*tch if there ever is one. I love the Orion series, all of them are hard to dance, but damn! The beat to me seems to be pulled out of nowhere! But I think that its one of the best mixes.

OOOH! I had just remembered(and this proves my point about slow tempos)some songs that are humiliatingly hard songs on Heavy/Maniac are Secret Rendez-vous, Sana Morette Ne Ente, Luv 2 Me, and Electro Tuned.

Songs with unusual(and otherwise unnecesary)freezes are Burnin Heat, Tsugaru.-there are others, but these ones get me soo upset that I always step early.

Whoever hasn't danced MAX2, A Little Bit of Ecstasy(one of the coolest songs ever...I'll be your dream, I can be your fantasy...damnit! Got it stuck in my head!) has one of the hardest slow-downs in DDR history.

These are just a couple of examples. Keep on postin!
