Either water from the Topsy's across from the arcade, or if I've stopped by Wal-Mart, Voodoo Rain! It should be the official drink of DDR!

Once I had a large water with two mondo size pixy sticks dumped in. That reminds me - they should call pixy sticks the "DDR Powerbar."

Before DDR - I down a cup or two half-hour before I DDR. Keeps me hydrated. I also don't like to eat a lot... I'll just feel kinda crappy and slugish on the machine if I do eat/drink a lot.

During DDR - Water; not too much or once again I'll feel sluggish and stuff. I'll also have to use the bathroom a lot.

After - Whatever. I'm a fan of Hawaiian Punch, Code Red Mountain Dew, Live Wire Mountain Dew (do they still sell that?), water, milk, apple juice, or whatever there is in the fridge.

Depends.. if I'm at the arcades I don't usually bring a drink, and water will generally do. However, if I am at home, or if I actually planned on DDRing for a while, I think grass jelly (the drink, not just the jelly) would have to be the preferred drink. It's supposedly a cooling herb (according to parents.. you know.. whole asian medicine thing E10.gif) and seems to help stop me from feeling too hot. This, coupled with the fact that I had at least 10 cans in my fridge a week ago, is why it's good =P

At the arcades, I find a vending machine and get a Fruitopia (usually Tangerine Wavelength) if I'm dying - but only if I'm dying, I don't like to have a stomach full of liquid when I'm dancing. After that gone, I just refill the bottle with bathroom water. Gross, but you reach a point where you get desperate.

I'll have to remember that bit about using the spot cleaners to wash your face before DDR. Me, being a girl not blessed with flawless skin, I normally have makeup on, and it's totally ruining my complexion.

I always used to drink Snapple Elements drinks, particularly Spark, Fire, and Sun, but the store I usually go to stopped carrying them, so now I mostly just use Gatorade or iced tea.

They sell that stuff at a noodle shop not too far from where I live, but I never got up the courage to try it. Does it taste any good?

Grass jelly is alright. It does have a really nice taste, at least in my opinion. Like a fruit I can't place. You should definitely try it -- it's not bad.

Sadly, after so many clubs and parties, I've reached the point where water out of the restroom sink is normal. Delicious, chlorinated tap water. Maybe if they didn't rip you off for a bottle or even a cup at clubs... disgust.gif

my good drinks

Water (in moderation)
Gatorade (esp. Fruit Punch)
Powerade (also Fruit Punch)

my bad drinks (the ones I have 'cause they're cheap

Dr. Pepper (I love it....until I declare a stamina day)
other sodas (definitely DRIES the mouth out more times than not)
Water (you ever drink too much? Ow.)
Orange Juice (do NOT do it. Acid in juice + acid in stomach = bad day for you)

If it has "max" in the name, it must be good for you. riiight.gif
but, i'll drink anything, water, gatorade, soda, hanson's fruit smoothie,...
except energy drinks, had too many of those.

AMP energy drink. Don't try it, or you'll be hopelessly addicted. Either that or Pepsi... but AMP is #1 recommended by your neighborhood Gyan
