Same here, lol. I don't play as much as you but my interest is still the same since the first I played. Say 3 years ago, lol. Hey look at Aaron he's played longer than I have and he doesn't find it boring yet. _________________

Oddball alert.
I've actually lost most (not all) of my interest in DDR. I've been playing since 2nd Mix and I've maintained a strong interest up until the Max series. I loved 5th and 4th was my favorite (Plus, anyway), but I don't what it was about Max (6th) that ruined it for me. I remember the first time I played it was in Power Plant Mall in the PI and, I don't know, I played only once, only to hop off the machine and play DMX 2nd. MAX 2 was kinda fun, and I regained a little bit of a craving for it, but after I started passing most of the DDREX songs, I just started looking to other Bemani (IIDX, KBM, DMX, DM to be specific). It seemed to me that they were starting to change little with DDREX (excluding Bemani songs and such). The unlocking system really didn't catch my attention, and I liked a handful of the other Bemani songs, but not a mass majority. And the Extreme songs I barely touched at all. They really gotta do something with the next one to win me back. _________________

I agree, the song selection has gone WAY downhill. |

I've been in those situations a couple of times before. Where I didn't feel like playing DDR for a while. Perfect example was when PSO (Phantasy Star Online) first came out for the dreamcast. I spent all of my free time playing that and leveling up. Didn't really go out at all and didn't play DDR too much either. Same thing happened again when PSO came out for the Gamecube. Played PSO as much as I could to get as high in levels as I could. After a while though I felt the urge to play DDR again and started right back where I had left off pretty much. _________________

I have lost much of my interest in DDR after many years of playing. As I see it, DDR was more of a step to bigger and better things.
Thank you IIDX. |

I've never lost interest in DDR. One of my favorite games, mos' def'! I don't really take it to serious though. Point is it's fun and good excersise to boot, yo! I always try to make a few hours for it a week.
I'm getting ready to start importing this week. Once I get good enough it's time to hit the mall scene to entertain hecklers. I like to give other people things to do, and if the people want to make fun of me, let them. I crave attention... |

Sometimes yes, but that is only because my home pads suck. I would play much morei f i had better pads. Im tired of playing and losing combos because my right pad is sticking or something stupid like that. |

I still love DDR, but I don't know how long that will last, only because of all the talk of it ending. If DDR truly ends, and there is nothing new coming, then I think everyone will slowly stop playing and move on to the next big thing. I really hope that doesn't happen though . _________________

Don't forget that every song would be a 400+ bpm remix of Let Them Move or Forever Sunshine... or both put together. Hell is a really evil place.
I've been playing for over five years, and I haven't lost interest. Then again, there are a lot of other things I've been doing longer that I haven't lost interest in. Like reading, taking classes, etc. |
