Has anyone noticed that there are a few really easy things u can do in the middle of a song to get all the ppl watching you to chear? What works for me usually, is glancing at like, the last 4 notes of a song and then finishing by grabbing the bar and hitting the last step with ur back to the machine and using both feet. Im sure everyone else has a trick they know . . . write em down! _________________

Max300 pleases crowds easily, especially if you do well.
Here's an example:
Play on Light and make it look extremely easy. The great thing about this is that you can do turns/spins if you want. I usually finish off by turning away from the screen for the last 5 jumps. As long as you're familiar with it, you can nail it and make even pros say "nice". Heh. _________________

Ok, yea, max 300 on heavy dont work for me cuz thought the audence loves it, i have to bar rape (which feels cheap to me) and I end sweaty and out of breath. Besides, i can only get a B on it and anyone thats been playing a year or so knows Max 300 is rather easy . . . it only impresses the ppl who cant quite do it yet . . . shame, i like the steps and music for MaxX unlimited . . . too bad i cant do it for beans _________________

Bah I think any MAX song is way overrated... anyway lol JUST A PERSONAL OPINION, NO NEED TO FLAME
Anyway I like Eight-note slides where you use one foot when moving one arrow to another with one foot, thus creating a sliding motion. Not really impressive, by itself, but it enhances your dance when people are watching.
On Spin the Disc, when you get those lengthy solitary freeze arrows, do as the song suggests: SPIN! Looks cool if you can keep your balance.
Keep your arms moving in a fluid motion to the song to make it look more like a dance... Also helps with balance.
On jumps with up/down and left/right repeating, like for example in Dynamite Rave Standard, hit the first step pair but immediately slide your feet to the center while rotating your body to slide your feet out again to hit the next step pair and repeat. It creates a cool shuffle move.
Of course creating a Freestyling routine is generally a good crowd pleaser... Just stay away from Dynamite Rave. The last thing we need is yet another unoriginal Dynamite Rave routine that features hand slaps and knee drops... ugh find a cooler song to start fsing to n00bs! |

Mine is Can't Stop Falling in Love (Speed Mix). So much pumping in that song! No way they won't hear it. _________________

And another thng, make sure you don't play after a poser, hee hee:
I was going to go get a drink(NO I AM NOT ALCAHOLIC, i mean soda;)),
When I hear 4 quarters go into the machine(Not literaly, but that cool sound)
So, i get my drink and I walk towards the machine, and only to find a "poser " playing Bag on light, somehow that was amazing, because everyone thought it was. So he leaves, I get on, no suprise there.
I play on heavy(oni sometimes) and I pick Burning heat, I get a B on it, and when I look around it is literally deserted. I could even see those tumbleweeds.... _________________

Whenever I get a crowd, they are impressed by seeing me play Legend of MAX. I got a huge applause when I did Living in America on stealth facing opposite the screen. Sometimes I do a few tricks on BreAkdown like spins at the part where it goes L,D,R L,D,R. You know that freeze arrow right at the end of the song? I balance on one foot and do a 360 then hit the final step w/ my hand. It was pretty easy to impress people and other kids that play there since many of them don't know much about the game and do Light mode. |

Sakura. I abuse it sooooo..... Much. It's nice, fast, hard for some people, One time, I stopped about 23-25 people while playing it. _________________

If you're playing infront of a bunch of people that still do Light/Standard, I'd say go with Rhythm and Police on Heavy. Has a lot of stuff that looks cool to newbies. |
