Since nobody mentionned these details, I will..
Another hint with Burning Heat (aside from the BG, information and just obvious "it's the same music!" stuff) is the name of the mix. Options were used in Gradius, so 3 Option Mix is quite Gradius related.

The PS2 Gradius game should be quite interesting, haven't seen news about it in awhile but I remember reading that Akira Yamaoka's had a hand in the music, which can't be bad if its true (since he's god and all).

Another Konami game with music in DDR is The Earth Light, on Konamix (and the upcoming Ultramix). The Zone of the Enders soundtrack was done by L.E.D. and that's where that song is from. Incidentally, in ZOE2 Leo uses Vic Viper, because clearly Konami likes crossovers between its games. There's a few more ZOE and ZOE2 tracks they could import into DDR, I think. The main themes (with lyrics) would be pretty interesting.

Anyway, that's plenty of useless little facts for now!

Indeed. Gradius is one of my fave old school shooters and I love that it's a song in DDR.

I was dissapointed with the move to polygons at first, but after seeing the game in motion it looks awesome. Any new side-scrolling shooters is always a good thing.

I will certainly buy the new Gradius the day it is released.

Now... Konami must convert all of the PC-Engine Dracula X songs to DDR. They'd be perfect! Could make some good cata's too.

Now a Contra game. . . hell yes. Anything off of Super C would rock.

And some metal gear music would be fun.

I think it's from Zelda, but with a faster beat. It is a cool song.

Read through the thread, the song is from Gradius.

Zelda = Nintendo
DDR & Gradius = Konami
