I have a RedOctane Ignition 2.0 which works fabulously. I would like to have another one so I can start practicing doubles but $100 is a steep price that I can't afford right now. I've seen several Ignition wannabes but do they even compare with the greatness of RedOctane's Ignition? Should I just save up my money for a RedOctane Ignition? Which wannabe is the best?

I recommend this:

My friend has two and their very similar to the RO ignitions. He's had reasonably good experiences with them.

I have two ignitions myself, one of which I got for free. The zipper on my first one broke when I got it, so I sent them an E-mail. They sent me a new pad AND an extra zipper; so now I have two. E1.gif

You're lucky you had a good experience with RedOctane. I bought 2 used ones direct from them, and they sent me a real one and a fake one that someone else must have returned. When I complained, they just ignored me disturb.gif But, the real one has been so awsome (and still is after almost a year. Down is starting to stick on occation). The fake one, on the other hand, blew chunks. But, I paid like $120ish for both (I think), so I'm not too bitter. And I might be able to do that cheap-mat inside the fake ignition mod and get it to work nicely. But my metal platform is coming on Thursday.
So, I'd really go with the real deal. It's just so good.

I got these two, gray brand-new Ignitions off of eBay for about 5 bucks each and the shipping and handling was $15. The foam they come with sucks, but they've worked pretty good and have taken 6 months of abuse. I use my shoes when I play, they haven't ripped yet but are pretty marked up. On one of the Ignitions the X button died, but probably cause someone folded it up and stored it somewhere I couldn't find it and it sat there over the summer, in the heat, all scrunched up until I found it. Now I'm thinking about getting metal pads, but I'm way too cheap for that. The reason I got these was because I saw the price and couldn't resist.
