Okay, so I have this friend who plays DDR. But for the past couple months, she's been feeling very sick when we go to the mall. At first I thought it was what she was eating that made her sick, but on several occasions she ate something from the food court and was perfectly fine. Then later she played DDR and got very very sick, throwing up and all, was sick for the rest of the weekend. Then next weekend, when we got to the arcade she played DDR 15 minutes after we got there, then she just got horribly sick again. Then she felt better, next day she plays DDR and again her stomach just started aching so badly and she just had to go home. So basically, i'm wondering if anyone knows why this is happening to her and can give advice on how to stop it. (It can't be from exercise either because she does fine in P.E. and with running long distances etc.) _________________

The only thing I could think of is eating before playing, but I don't think she's eating everytime before she's played has she? _________________

Wow, that's uncommon. Okay, here's some suggestions.
1. Have her drink plenty of water 1 hour before you start playing. I'm talking like 20 oz, maybe more, maybe a propel, all-sport, whatever. After an hour, play, and see if she gets sick. If she doesn't, problem solved, she needs to drink more water. If she does, she either (A) Drank too much water, (B) is overstuffed with food, (C) very hungry, or (D) psychosomatic.
Suggestion #2
Don't play DDR anymore.
Suggestion #3
Suck it up and deal with being sick. (Don't really do that) _________________

Possibility. "Motion sickness". I get sick from watching SOME racing games and FPS games. There's a possibility that the framerate of the scrolling arrows is slightly disorienting and causes sickness. _________________

I never seem to get dizzy looking at the arrows and the crazy backgrounds. |

Neither do I, but I got dizzy from focusing too much on FPS games like Timsplitters and sometimes Unreal Tournament. I'm just saying it's a POSSIBILITY. _________________

I dunno what it is, but it's probably from all the fumes from all those people sweating. |

Me and a friend nearly played ourselves to the point of puking on Friday, but that was just 'cause there wasn't a line at the machine. So playing nonstop for about six rounds... ... _________________
