I remember when some kid posted a long ass post and cursed a LOT and it all got filtered, and taht pissed him off more.. and then EVERYone taht posted after him said nothing about what he was ranting about and instead proceeded to curse "perfectly fine", which annoyed him to no end.. it was hilarious

Mainly because those who know how to get around it have been here for long enough, and know the rules. Meaning if they use curse words, they'll refrain from using them in a flame (because they won't be flaming).
One of the main reasons is because we love to see someone come in and have their first post be a gigantic flame, only to come back and say "What the frick? My frick post was changed! This is pure poopy!"
And then of course come back and get mad at THAT, and curse more, and look more and more like a fool.
