What do you say when you fail?

i usually end up shouting "F*CK!" and then flick off the screen...i dont know why but every time i can remember failing thats EXACTLY what i did

I usually say "crap" or "damn". But other times I just stand there, sweating (if it's a hard song) and blankly staring at the screen before I put another few quarters into the machine or leave the machine.

If I fail a song, usually I just roll my eyes and shrug, unless it's the 1st or 2nd song, in which case I am a little more annoyed. Maybe I might let out the occasional F@#$! if I make a particularly stupid error.

But I'm not half as entertaining to watch as some of my fellow players from the DFW area... for instance:

The guy who flips the machine the bird when he fails, or doesn't get the score he wanted. Heh. Cracks me up every time.

The guy who always, always, always, always blames all greats, goods, boos, misses, and N.G.'s on the pads, no matter which machine he is using, it sucks. "It's the pads!" is his middle name...

The guy who throws a temper tantrum worthy of a 3 year old when he fails a song (he's about 20) cussing, throwing the occasional chair, and stomping around on the pads. Then he loudly reminds everyone in the vicinity that he recently had knee surgery, and he is in horrible pain every time he steps on a DDR machine. Uh, yea.

The guy who will be playing, miss a few steps (not necessarily even enough to fail the song, mind), and will just stop, mid-song, calmly walk off, and leave the arcade without so much as waving goodbye to the people he just spent the last hour hanging out with. Wuh?

And then there's Foul Mouthed guy. Every bad step he's belting out a swear word more offensive then the last one. It's hysterical. Mothers are putting their hands over their childrens ears as they herd them away from Foul Mouthed guy.

Watching people lose was never such fun!

Heh. Personally, I usually don't say much of anything. I just put my token/coin/card up for the next game and rest, to make sure it doesn't happen again. If it's my second song, though, next time up I'll play a Nonstop to make sure I get my money's worth.

PS - Sara, you're right. There are certain groups/individuals in the area that either annoying or amusing or both.
