do you think this is good for a noob?

i've been playing for about 2 months. august was more than this month, since i started school, but all in all, about two months. i can do 4-5 footers with little problem, 6footers, i can do some of them, 2 7 footers. i havnt'been able to do any catas yet. i'm having a little trouble when there's 8th notes, but no note before it. like... Left, Left, Left, pause, 8thLeft, left..... any advice? and also, do you think i'm doing good for 2 months?

Even if this isn't the place to post, I think it is impressive to be at that level in 2 months. It took me a while just to be at that level. As for arrows that look hard, you'll eventually get them. You just have to keep practicing.

When people like me started their was no one else to look to, to see exactly how the song goes.

We were the beggining generation of DDR players, now you guys have people like us to see how we do it so you progress a lot faster.

My friend, Adamn, can now get a AA on Maxx Unlimited and he hasn't even been playing for a full year yet.

I think thats pretty crazy to be doing that in that amount of time.

When I was playing for 2 months I could barely pass any 7 footers so in my opinion you are doing good. All it takes is practice. Just feel the rhythym and dance!

Thats pretty good.When I've been playing for about 2 months now too.But I can pass Tsugaru(both of em)So Deep,EE,HVAM,FITN,Burning heat,Just about every Cata.But keep playing like there is no 2morrow,thats what I did.

thx every1. i would be playing more, but i got classes and whatnot. i'm actually in a class right now. got nothing else better to do cept visit ddrfreak.

eh... i dunno...

i got passed dynamite rave trick mode today, first time... got a C.. i dont' think that's that bad.

Hey, is the class called Web Design? Just wondering since I post in this site during that class all the time...including now. As for Dynamite Rave, I forget it's level, but I think it's pretty high, so getting a C in it the first time is pretty good.

I'm REALLY confused, i've played a total of 16 days now, and i can do all the 1-6 footer songs on max (except my generation) and three sevens. I'm not trying to be egotistical, but is that amazing? cuz i thought its normal.

it's all a person to person basis..

it took me 1 month to beat my first kata from the time i started playing

that's decent i guess, i moved to 100%FS after i could beat every kata on 5th mix

I think a big factor is *where* you play...home, or arcade?

if you're playing everyday at home, you can progess a lot quicker than if you only get to play, say, every weekend at the arcade

if u AAA a 8 footer at a year then yeah ur tied with me i guess.....
