o.k. is there anyone else who has the same problem as me???

whenever a little kid is standing extremely close or on the pad, does your depth perception get really screwed up? I dunno but it happens to me and then I cant get the right arrows.

Anybody?

POST WHORE!!!!!!!

Anyways, it depends how close that particular person is. One time I was playing at LZ in my state and I was playing Paranoia Bros. During Evolution some little kid walks extremely close to the right speaker (I was on the left pad). I could see the kid directly there and it annoyed me and I swear it screwed me up.

It would only mess me up because I'd be afraid I'd step on them.

The only time it bugs me is when someone is standing right next to the screen or when someone put their token up while I'm playing.I HATE THAT! disgust.gif

there was a little kid once when i was playing who kept swinging under the bar (while holding it), and his sister kept jumping up and down on the other side. sooo annoying. disgust.gif

truely annoying though, when people put their coins in while you're still playing, and stand right in front of the screen during a song.

the thing was that it was a bunch of arrogant little kids in a group by them selves and they seemed to think that they were untouchable. So, after I raised my voice at them they finally backed off but I could hear them muttering things under their breath.

POST WHORE!!!!!!!

I don't think he was post-whoring, he just wasn't affected in the way the first poster was. After all, the topic was a question, meaning yes OR no.
On topic, I am affected somewhat, but mainly because I look down to see if I'm about to stomp on the brat's skull.

I think they mean the lines of little kids that just jump on the pad and try to play mimicing you and playing on your side of the pad so you have to setp on them to make them run away and then you tell there parents "oops i didnt see them" lol

The kind of kids we're talking about are the spoiled brat kind. Around here, it's usually pretty good. We still get them once in a blue moon. I just keep playing regardless, and if they get in the way, I just step anyways. A jump, after accounting for gravity, amounts to about 200 lb of force total. If the kid's foot happens to be where I land, it gets about half that pressure. And why should I care? Not my fault, not my problem, not my concern. And if their parents say otherwise, the staff all know how much I spend there, so sayonara!

And 'little' kids are usually the REALLY little, naive kids. 1-digit age max.

However, the simple statment of yes or no with no reasoning or anything else really contributes nothing to the conversation, and is therefore post-whoring.

As for me, I don't care if I crush someone's bones. They were in the way, it's their fault. Just focus on what you're doing

If the kid gets in the way, it's getting crushed beneath the sole of my burnt out sneakers. But if they're on the pad next to me, I don't seem to mind much as long as they're not moving at all. Either that or making a lot of noise, because I know I did slap one kid before when I was freestyler and he couldn't get the message when I said move back some. Must've had ADD or some shit.

What really throws me off is people shadowing off the pad... especially near me off the pad. I'll be zoned in completely and I take a quick second to look off to the side to make sure no one is there and see someone shadowing, I can't seem to get rid of them from the corner of my eye. It's very distracting as well as annoying.

Pfft... do it behind me or something, as long as I can't see you.

Just because we weren't any better when we were younger doesn't mean we can't be pissed off by it. Haven't you ever done something and been mad that you did it later on in life? Although I wouldn't purposly step on a kid... it's just that accidents can happen.
