I keep getting this error when I try to submite my info to the location area:

ML_Locations: error in insert

This comes up on an otherwise blank screen.

Also, I'm appauled that no one knows of the DDR Extreme in Ireland, or the several EuroMix2's as well as at least one Maxx2.

Am I the ONLY irish person here!?!

Huh? There's an Extreme listed in Dublin, along with two EuroMixes...and then there's a whole slew of EuroMix and EuroMix 2 machines in Belfast.

Okay, I'm still getting the same error, but I did find the previous listings. They're very out of date...

by about 100 years!

IRELAND IS NOT PART OF THE UK!
The republic of ireland has nothing to do with the UK at present, and hopefully won't for a while.

Also, I can't update the old data on the Dublin based machines.
Anyone able to help???

Ireland, no...North Ireland, yes.

This topic was brought up a few months back too.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to rename UK section to Great Britian, and split off the Ireland/North Ireland entries to a separate "Ireland/N. Ireland" section.

I'm still unclear as to what the error is (not that Ireland isn't part of the UK, mind you...I mean the actual technical error you're getting). Can you describe exactly what you're entering into the fields when this message pops up? Does this happen every time? Is it just when you modify one particular location?

It's exactly how adder described it.

I try going to modify stuff, so I'm at the modification page and I have all the stuff I want to submit ready to go, and the username and password are both in the appropriate fields, so I hit submit.

The screen is entirely blank white except at the top left where it says

ML_Locations: error in insert

And that's it.

Which entries did you try to update? Does this happen with every single one?

I'm trying to figure out if it's a specific set of entries that people can't edit, or if it's just something wrong with your specific account.

Please give EXACT information about how to reproduce the problem, including the names of the fields, the buttons you clicked, etc.

Alright, here we go, step by step.

1. Went to www.ddrfreak.com then clicked Machine Locations
2. Changed the drop down menu to Canada, then hit Show.
3. Clicked Ontario
4. Clicked Leisure Lanes in Oshawa
5. Clicked Modify
6. Left form otherwise unmodified except for the following fields.

USERNAME: TedHead
PW: ********
Address (Line 1) : 728 Champlain
Phone: 905-579-4411
Mix: Solo 2000

7. Clicked Submit
8. Screen goes completly blank white, displaying only the message "ML_Locations: error in insert" in the top-left corner.

This seems to be specific for this certain location, because I submitted more information on North End Bowl in the same city, and it worked fine.

I've tried to edit the existing, although wrongly placed data, on Dr. Quirkeys in the UK section... no luck.

I've tried to add new data in the Europe section... same problem.

A member who was over hear said he ws trying to update data, but the "server is down". Of course, i think this was just his view on the error

Yeah...the server probably not down if SOME people can get things to work. This is odd. So you can't get ANYTHING to work?

I don't know about EVERYTHING, but anything I want to do (update existing, create new) won't work at all. I just get a blank page with a small message saying "ML_Locations: error in insert".
*Sigh*

I can't think of anything else, I'm not very good with HTML or any other programme. (I can't even get frames on my site!)

I get the same error when trying to update Rev'd Up in Machesney Park, IL. The error occured when I tried to:

-Change the mix/pricing/location and hours
-Remove the current machine and add a new one
-Completely erase the location to resubmit it

I too have had this problem 3 different times now. At first I thought maybe it was some kind of system upgrade error like someone was throwing in a new drive or something... Then a couple days later I thought it must have been my cookies and junk. Cleared everything out and got lazy.

Today, I tried for the 3rd time and I am still getting the exact same error while trying to submit a new location in Idaho Falls, ID. Filled out all fields needed ahd hit submit. An instant later, I get the same error message named in the first post.

I've figured out the problem--the script didn't do well with quotes. It will be fixed within the hour.
