It looks really cool!
But is it any good? I certainly hope so! Else I would need to mod it, but that won't be a problem I guess...[/img] |

Jeez, that thing weighs 60 lbs and has a bar. It also costs $109 BEFORE SHIPPING. The cheapest shipping option for the US is about $150. so at least around $260 for that thing. Anyone actually buy it? I'm curious too.

Isn't that the pad that they sell on eBay? It's like $30 more on there... $200 for the pad and $80 for shipping. I'm surprised that LS has it for cheaper... _________________

Hmmm, looks pretty, except for the dent you can see in the one bar on the left of the picture.
I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I have trouble trusting the quality of a Metal DDR pad that is also for sale cheap... |

That's right! They dent every single trick bar in the same place for authenticity's sake. |

That's a Nice Replica.
I Might get this if the arrows are at least 1/4 inches down (like arcade)
Spoonsman, where did you get the shipping info? _________________

I put it in my cart and went far enough into the checkout process till it told me what the shipping cost was. |

Options? I have only one choice:
Please select your preferred shipping method:
Shipping via UPS: $267.00 (~2,082.68 HKD)
Fast courier shipping service, usually takes around 1 to 3 days to major destinations.
Shipments can be tracked online. Highly recommended!
But the other day, there was another option, that took about 2 days longer, and costed about 100$ more... Wierd...
Anyone find reviews/comments on this? It seems like a cheap CF alternative, and actually looks a bit more arcade-ish, if it wasn't for them ugly X/O buttons, which can easily be changed. |

I suppose the shipping cost depends on where you live. When I did it the first option was $150 and the second option was around what you said. |

That pad looks like something I'd like to build myself!
If I can get it cheaper than the cost of materials & equipment, I'd definately go for it! _________________

Well, on average home built metal pads (the good ones), It would cost around 100$-140$, and this pad is cheap enough to sway the inspiring do-it-yourselfer to order this, if it wasn't for the shipping. Me thinks that they are just overcharging on shipping to make people think its a good deal, when only perhaps 50$-75$ is an actual shipping charge. |
