Actually, you can just use a ps2 ---> xbox converter for your ps pad. Easy as that.
(If I was a mod, I'd click lock) |

Not all of us own Playstations. But still, the convortor to pad may not work. The convortor might think it's a controller. And freeze arrows may not work....
course i could be wrong |

I heard the biggest issue with the Converter will be that It won't recognize as a PAD for online rankings and stuff.
I would imagine that if you have a Metal Pad like the Cobalt Flux or Red Octane, they will probably sell a new Control box for the Xbox that you will be able to buy. |

That is my biggest concern, the online ranking. The last thing I want to see is the #1 player getting 100% on Maxx 300 Oni or something. Even though rumors are flying Oni isn't in there...[/quote] |

That would be a concern even if you built your own metal pad for Xbox, because the USB identification string would be that of the controller. A control box, on the other hand, could send a dancepad string. _________________

Additionally, if you read the entire thread, you'll note that there are measures being taken to segregate PS controllers from PS pads when used with a converter box, and so it shouldn't actually be a problem to use a PS metal pad. _________________

Vance was mentioning that at the CF forums, I guess no one can really make a new Cbox without having the full game to test it on though, which means I might be alittle late to just onto the Ultramix online rankings. _________________

So, if you use the convortor for the Playstation Metal pads we all invested $200 into, there won't be a way to you the Xbox Microphone on Xbox Live, Xbox's online gaming service...
I wouldn't wanna use the mic on live though, too busy moving. |

For the people wondering about XBox and such what about just using the metal dance pad you made for your PC if it uses USB? After all Lik-Sang has a USB to XBox USB convertor and I suppose it might work right. |

Actually, the Magic Box converter on Lik-Sang has a memory slot that you can plug your mic into. It even says that it is Xbox Live compatible in the Product FAQ's. I don't know what you would do about the cord extension, however...are there any third party companies selling them separately? |
