As far as i know, there is going to be a DDR extreme2, and by the way, wrong forum.

Sometime around december konami will release a new mix. But this mix is supposed to be diffrent. You will have to buy a new machine to play it because its going to be run off a dvd drive. You wont be able to upgrade from an old machine so the machines are going to be run around 9000 dollars.

Wrong forum, and there has been no confirmation from Konami of Japan about a 9th DDR mix at this time.
