hey all chock down one more vote for the dating/meetup forum.
Even though I'd probably never use to hook up with a girl, since I live so far away from cute DDR girls.
Besides, it's not like I'd need DDR to meet beautiful women.... why you ask? Well here's why!
DDR_Dagon in a nutshell:
He's handsome, good at DDR, funny, charming, confident, and lovely company. He's open minded, a raucous good time, always interesting, did I mention charming. Plus he thinks the world of cute ddr girls, and loves "The Simpsons." Also, he's an accomplished musician, well, he plays the sax and the piano and the guitar.
Oh, and I'm modest, and use proper grammar. Who wouldn't want to date me? |

GOD I HAVE THE PERFECT STORY FOR THIS THREAD!!!
Okay, I'm fourteen, and I've always played DDR. Even so, I only became really, really serious about when my best guy-friend started showing some interest in it, too. Now we're both playing seven-footers, and he's gotten to be better than me in a mere four months. I have no problem admitting that.
So this afternoon I went to the mall with him, to DDR. And this girl who's really good that he's seen before (I won't put her name, in case she sees this) comes over to chat with him.
Soon he's dancing with her, they're shouting like mad people and drawing tons of attention to themselves, and I...was just standing there...watching...like I didn't even exist anymore.
The really sad part is, that when we left the cinema, and I asked him what my name was, it took him two seconds to remember.
Thus, I have concluded never to like someone who DDR's, especially if there are pretty girls with more talent living in you area.
(Okay, perhaps this is exaggerating a little. But I'm a little upset, if you hadn't noticed) _________________

Heh...
Too bad I don't live anywhere near a DDR Machine. Also, I'm sure I could blow away anyone that goes to my school. Not too many good Dance Dance Revolvers at my school (atleast that I know of. But I just took it in and had just about everyone in the school pass by [3,000 or so]. So, if there was someone awsome, they probably would have played). |

Loren, if you lived close to me and played DDR almost as much as I do I don't mind going out with you. But even if I am looking I am not looking to have tons of girlfriends, go through heartbreak/pain, and I want my first girlfriend to be the one. I know too much the ask, but I am better off happy that way. But in general out here, when I go DDR I go there for myself and my pleasure cause most of the players are there are a bunch of jerks. As far as girls go, I don't even talk/flirt cause I already have my eyes on a friend who I am still developing a relationship with. She was impressed by my DDR skills and I think that's enough for me. _________________

Wow, this is probably the most interesting thing I've seen in DDR Chit Chat in a while. I'm sure you ppl don't need a silly forum to attempt to hook up with anyone here that plays DDR, but I will admit, it would be kinda interesting to at least go on a date with someone from the DDR community. I'm 25, so I know how the 20+ group feels, but hey, it's all good, right? We'll just go to a club and dance our way into someone's heart. that is, of course, you know how to dance... I dunno. Don't mind me, I'm just tired. _________________

I've only seen 3 hot guys on a DDR machine. As far as I know, they can Dance Dance to my Revolution anyday as I Beat their Mania.
I wish my bf was into DDR... he HATES DDR w/ a passion. Ever since he saw the DDR characters and knows I cosplay Yuni for anime and gaming conventions, he think it's a siezure game. And I make a cute Yuni as I was told... grr!!! We're not that close anymore since he's involved w/ military duty and I got college and meetin' new peeps...
ANY SUGGESTIONS? _________________

maybe i misunderstood the topic....
is this about DDr girls? or people w/ low self esteem who can't find a partner any other way than using a similar interest in an arcade game that isn't even being continued anymore...........
I've said it before and i'll say it again..
Play ddr for fun
Play ddr for money
DDR plays you if you use it for friends.... _________________

ever since I've started playing DDR I've always wanted a G/F that played as well, I would LOVE if I could find a woman that played DDR and had the type of qualities I'm looking for, hopefully one day I'll find that special woman.. |

Well, I played DDR just as a game and to have fun, but this year, and this summer in particular I've made a TON of new friends, along with the sweetest girl ever Which worked out, btw.
So I guess I'm extremely lucky. |
