Hate to go off topic, but I always wondered why every calls Naota 'Ta-kun' even though that isn't his real name.
And so this isn't considered off-topic:
One time there was this dude who said he could AAA Kakumei. Now, seeing as how I can't AAA anything, I politely asked if he could do it for me. Now, with him acting all cocky, he starts the song and BAM, fails not too long after the gallops start. In a fit of fury, he storms off the machine and yells 'You little prick; you f**ked me up! Why the hell were you staring at me! How do you expect someone to play when people are watching me like a F**KING HAWK!'

Hey now, everyones' taking all of my excuses!  Seriously though, I was playing fourth mix at a Laser Quest and the music WAS too quite! I couldn't hear it, and although I didn't fail any of the songs, I didn't do as good as I normally do! I PROMISE!

Furi Kuri OWNZZ... anyway what is this footer you speak of? *some kid first time playing when he says he can beat max300 heavy* The arrow color changed, that confused me *me picking solo and a kid next to me is playing a 4 footer on light*[/quote] dude its not furi kuri, how can u not know this? u obvieously watch it on adult swim and they say flcl all the time or fooly cooly... the second time they did the mangna in the show ( if u tell u me u dont know wut a manga is i swear one day ill be come an administrator for this forum and lock every one of ur topics) the grand father asked the father " so what exactly is fooly cooly ne way?" so cut me a break bud i had to know it was either fooly cooly (prefered) or atleast flcl which by the way if u havent noticed yet is FooLy CooLy and if u still dont get it notice flcl corespondes with the letters i put in bold AND caps... fear the fooly master which is I! i took the time to actualy figure out fooly cooly due to alot of free time and about 50 buck worth of stationary... i took me weeks of mailing the creators to understand what was not ment to be understood plus translation of the letters was excrutiaing so now i love to jump on ne 1 who gives false info about fooly cooly, and do u know why? one annoying kid that always go to the arcade i usually go to failed nearly every song he played...his excuse: "the pads were too sticky"...would be a nice excuse...except me and my brother played before him and our feet weren't stuck to the pads... 
oh yeah...everytime the "annoying kid" played my friend always did some goofy dance in order to screw "annoying kid" up...as usual annoying kid failed miserably...but blamed my goofy dancing friend for his mishaps...
as for our little flcl subtopic...naota is nicknamed tak-kun b/c i think that's naota's brother's name...i could be wrong...

Before I say this I want you to know I do understand what you mean and I'm not trying to twist your words around.
I have used that excuse inside my head because it was the truth. When I started playing at the arcade (instead of at home) I'd play songs that are on the home versions. I'd do noticeably worse at the arcade because of the people watching me and because I wasn't used to the structure of the pads. The reason for the people watching me part is because almost all the time there would be a DDR player there that's better than me watching me, I found this intimidating. I had trouble with the pads because the arrows are lowered making it harder to step on the arrows and have them register if I stepped flat-footed, which was the way I used to step.
The following aren't to cover up for playing poorly, but I think I can toss them in.
"I can't play it with shoes on," which would also fit in with the excuse I mentioned above (assuming you play without shoes at home and with shoes at the arcade). Today in a tournament I played the song Orion.78 (Civilization Mix) on heavy. I felt like my shoes were sticking to the pad, making me unable to move/slide freely like I wanted to. At home I normally come about seven arrows from a FC on this song, but today with my shoes on at the arcade I B'ed it. I wish I had thought about this difference when deciding which of three songs I wanted to play.
"Too tired/sore," probably from songs just played. This is self explanatory.

first off WHAT THE HEL* IS WRONG WITH U!? BUSTIN IN ON A GUYS FORUM THEN SAYIN HE HAS NO COMMON SENSE?! U SHOULD HAVE SOME DIGNITY! second people who get info off line are usually dumbsh*ts... for example: do u remeber in the news acouple years ago this kid made millions by telling people ON THE WEB that certain stocks were gonna go up... or how about this time that kid on ebay was telling people he was selling brand new lap tops for like 500 dollars but he was real selling old busted as* lap tops... i just wanted to get the real info... y do u think they have the urban myth show? ... dumb fuc* thinks hes gonna bust on me in my own forum... he got another thing coming...
