The song I found it hardest to score on in 3rd Style is Overdoser. I couldn't AAA it even if the game payed me to. _________________

Now that must be a testament to how off my timing is...I have 3 L7 AAA's on 3rd Style....5.1.1, SP-Trip Machine, and Overdoser....ugh...Gambol, however, is my only C on L7...and I don't have any B's....so I'd say Gambol is the most off, but that's just me.

How do you find out the letter grade you got for each song on 3rd style? i didnt see a letter grade anywhere except for the 3 stage total. (or do you have to manually calculate exscore?)
Oh btw, 6th style home is awesome. I so far have gotten my buttocks kicked on 70% of everything i've played Especially the safari L7...omg.
I think i'm learning though, i can consistently pass a few 3 and 4s now. |

take your ex score
divide by total possible ex points (total notes x 2)
AAA = 8/9
AA = 7/9
A = 6/9
and so on
or just go here |

If I'm not mistaken the only home version that gives letter grades for individual songs is 6th, although I could be wrong.
Fortunately, though, Remy's site has a IIDX grade calculator that allows you to calculate your letter grade based on your EX score and the total number of notes in the song. The link is here. _________________

yep, I calculate all of my grades for 3rd-5th style manually....well....I have a spreadsheet that does it for me, but 6th is still the only one that actually gives you grades.
In other news:
76% on Sync[a] ....so close....
and I'm scoring 50-60% fairly consistently on Linus[a]
I've been trying forever to pass Romeo&Juliet[a], but I keep getting all these other songs first...it's kind of annoying...

Like I said before, route 80s = WORST. TIMING. EVAR. My best result on it was 180 JG's, 286 Greats, 124 Goods, 3 Bads, and 37 Poors.
I can at least scrape a B on Skyscraper [7] (221/286/78/18/19), which is only 125 BPM, about 1-3 BPM faster than route 80s. |

[reboots thread]
Anyone found any songs that would be great on IIDX?
The bramble music from Donkey Kong Country 2 would be great, especially since it doesn't repeat until the 2'10" mark. Unfortunately, it will never make it since it is in a videogame by Rare and Nintendo |

Don't even get me started with this...there's just too many songs that would go great with IIDX and you know it.
Just in Bemani alone, songs like Ghosts and So Deep would be enough to make me sigh. Drifting Away would be kind of fun, and MaxX Unlimited would be almost as enjoyable as it is on DDR as extra stage. There's something about that song that just gets my heart racing (the arrows). _________________
