Alright, this is the first time this has ever happened and all of the lights in my house were off and I was really concentrating on the song in SM. Anywho, I was playing Candy KOG G3 mix and it got near the end of the song and all of a sudden a figure pops out of the bottom right and says a Mortal Kombat-like "TOASTY!" And I nearly fell over. So today my sister was playing Waka Laka Bubble Mix and the same thing happened to her. She said it was the Robot dude (what's his name, the electrical plug as a head dude). So I'm wondering, is this something has happened to other people? Or did it happen because I downloaded a Mortal Kombat DWI or what? Lemme know. Thanks E1.gif

don't worry, it happens to everyone. The person who programmed it added that in for whenever you get so many perfects in a row. You can turn it off somehow, go to the ddrmaniax.net forum, i'm pretty sure they mention it there

the same thing just happened to me. However, I was using the forever blue v 2.0 bete expansion thingy and the guy you see in the menus (where you pick single, couple, solo etc.) I was playing Rooster Hill (10 feet) and this guy comes out and says "toasty" It scared the hell out of me. I found out later i had like 526 perfects 16 greats 1 good 1 boo and 0 ok's. I think it pops out when you get 500 perfects. maybe. i dunno

I thought it was 100 consecutive perfects...but then again it may be 150....

Anyways, for those people who LIKE to see it (sometimes it can be distracting as hell), just turn the judge difficulty to '1' and you'll AAA every song you play! laugh.gif

It's 200 perfects E1.gif

Well actually i heard that every 5 seconds, it checks your "perfect combo" if you're running one, and if it's around 200 you get a toasty E1.gif

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

Well, you can take a look at this guy if you want.

1. Search for SMMAX2 (with Start, Search)

2.Click on the folder called that.

3. Go to BGAnimations

4. Go to ScreenGameplay toasty

Look at the picture

There you have it Mr. Roboto E1.gif

I don't think "toasty" appears after a certain amount of perfects in a row, I think it's after a certain percent of the song is done with all perfects, since it pops up at different times.

I think D-Man's right. When I do Spin the Disc (which is 301 steps in all) a guy wearing football gear pops up and says what sounds like "Oni" (might be "Toasty") near the end but before I reach 300 Perfects. But it's definitely more than 200.

It's 250. Go do it in songs like www.Blonde Girl or Love Love Shine.
