Dreamin of DDR

I don't know about anybody else but almost every other night now I've been having dreams about DDR. I'm usually always in the same arcade playing on a Max2 machine. Does anybody else have dreams about DDR or am I just wierd?

I've had two wacked up ones and one normal ;;

1.I was in an arcade and i dreamed of the next ddr mix.

2.I was in an arcade, and i was playing ddr, but the pad was just flashing lights and the arrows were replaced by trees and other things..(wacked XD)

3.I was playing in an arcade with 3 ddr machines. There were dimes all over the floor, which was what the machines took. But they wouldn't work, so when you pressed the switch for your coins back, you got cookies instead...lol

I dream of DDR all the time. They are usually more like nightmares than dreams.

one dream was I was walking through this HUGE mall looking for the arcade. I found it a few hrs later and hopped on the pads and put moneys in the DDR. My feet suddenly feel like glue and I fail easy songs in front of a big crowd. I fell down on my hands and knees in shame and everyone was laughing at me.

to understand the second one you must first know about my job. I work in foodservice at a local amusment park. The stands where I work and right across from the arcade, with the dance dance machine sitting in perfect view by the door. I sit watching people play and daydreaming about playing myself sometimes when i'm real bored. In the dream I was headed to work, and as i'm passing the carosel I see my friends running around franticly. One says to me "OMG, Playland got the new DDR!!!" I drop my apron, race into the arcade, and see that every game has been taken out. The only game there is this new DDR mix. Its so massive it fills the entire room. 90 percent of the machine is this bigass water tank. I head to the one side of the machine to find an hour long line. I wait in line and finally get up to the machine. There is no screen, the pads look like a hollowed out pad, filled with water. I step up on this "pad" this water, and my feet don't get wet, I am levitating above the water. I look at the pseudo screen and water dripping from the top are suppost to- be the arrows. I follow the notes and beat a few songs on standard, and walk out of the arcade saying "This blows" to myself.

dream number 5.

I was on DDRE and I went to pick captain jack and he was pissed at me cuz i never play that song anymore so he jumped outta the screen and was chasing me around with a railroad spike and a sledgehammer!then i woke up in a dripping sweat! i will post my other ones later.

ok, weird.

My dreams really explore farther than just ddr, but its still in there.
Ive had a few lately, simply because my brain knows i havent been playing much lately.

my most recent one though, was me on a new 9th mix with a bunch of friends watching and I had an extreme urge to play freckles for some reason but when I got to the machine the menus were really complicated and the timer went down really fast. I got a song I didnt want in my attempts to find the song selection menu and Right near the beginning I jumped and did a freeze arrow... and then my dream changed to some sort of character resembling mr. @ from bust-a-move going around on wheels trying to make sets of tracks dissapear...

yep, my dreams are retarded.

also, I had a few after a tourney in calgary (I couldnt go the second day cuz i was sick) where I was playing with some people who were at the tourney and I kept going through doors and past machines and such... and the landscaping is always really weird and erratic, too.

I know that I've had a few, but I can usually only remember certain vague pieces of my dreams. This morning however, when I woke up I thought I was still playing DDR because I had been dreaming of it... the arrows were still scrolling through my mind and apparently I had let my alarm clock ring for more than a minute believing it to be the beat to Healing Vision or seomthing. It took a couple of minutes for me to figure out why I couldn't pick my next song after passing the previous one... then I realized that I had hit the alarm button believing it to be necessary to continue on playing.

Anyways, that was wacky and dissorienting. I'm also constantly seeing arrows scrolling up through my mind, but that's more of an obsessive problem than anything to do with dreaming/day-dreaming even.

Okay, when I have dreams, They are either crystal clear, or as blurry as Fog city( )

Anyway, I have recently been studying Love Love Shine on maniac for a lot of spins, and My dream was in a completely pitch black room. I wasn't seeing out of my eyes either, it was like 3rd person view. I saw a weird dot, and I went to it, and it was DDR Omega Devastation mix. Only the Max songs and Rediculously hard songs were on it. I got up to it, and tripped, Because when I touched it, My sight went to 1st person, there was a little impact too... I hit the start button and it was pre-set to love love shine maniac. I start playing, and (HOLY poopy!!! ) The first lot of arrows were the correct ones! I perfected there with spins as usuall, then after the first double freeze arrows, I noticed I sunk a quarter of a centemeter (Yes, i am observant, and canadian). I look down, ant the arrows have dissapeared. where they were, there were the slots where they should be. the dancing doesn't work, and the pitch black veil is lifted to reveal a big, Mutha Fuggin' huge crowd, in a perfect conditioned colliseum. Like a base ball feild with only a dance machine in the center. They start laughing at me cause I am failing the song. In absolute ( ) frustration, I punch the machines glass, and as if to react, the whole crowd shattered with the glass. It went to 3rd person again, It was all black again, and I saw a slightly big line. I go to it, back to first, and see that it is the set of arrows that dissapered. Then i saw a big machine forming arouned it. an exact replica. I had this sudden surge of hatred toward it, lifted a big missle launcher of the ground, and shot it at the machine. heres the weird parts. Right when i puller the trigger, The view changed. I was the machine! Right before the Boom, I awoke (Thank GOD!!!), and noticed a pain in my hand, where i punched the glass... I still love to play,BTW.

another one I had was about Alice( ). it was in a hallway, and She comes over to me, bends down, our heads side by side, she whisters

I am elevated, I look down to a hard dance pad, I look up right, and a machine is in place of alice( ). In the screen, There she is, she winks at me, and the backround is replaced with The Max 300 backround(on maniac(Duh)). I skim my way through to the freeze arrow stop, and the screen somehow lunges toward me, and i am inside the machine. then I am pelted with the arrows from the song. I am badly Beaten and bruised, I am lying sprawled on the floor, and Alice comes over and pecks me on the cheek. (No smily could demonstrate the way I felt(LOVE!)). I am also suddenly healed, I get to my feet, and she dashes away. Before she turned, I noticed she was blushing

lol ive had like 8 or 9 dreams about DDR but the weirdest one i had was i was in an arcade and i saw a DDR machine so i went to it and started playing, but halfway thru the song i noticed that the pad was tilted. ( up arrow slanting upright. I thought this was strange but i kept my balance and kept playing, evenutally tho it tilted up high enough for me to fall off so i failed the song and everyone laughed at me. SO i jumped back on and tried again and the same thing happened. so yea that was more like a DDR nightmare lol

This dream is kind of a mix of DDR, Silent Hill 3, and Fatal Frame because right when I came home from DDRing, I immediately popped inin my borrowed SH3 but only played a little before switching over to my Fatal Frame. Now, the dream.

I'm walking down a street, completely dark, only dimly lit by streetlamps that flickered on and off. Then for some reason I tripped on my shoelace and landed face first into the ground, but then I started to hear Bumble Bee from far off somewhere. So I get up and start walking forward a bit more when I was suddenly surrounded by Silent Hill's famous "fog". For a while it was blurry, but when it cleared...who did I see? Heather from SH3! She was staring at something with a flashlight pointed. I walked up to her and touched her shoulder. She turned around quick and flashed the flashlight right in my face, making my vision blinded for a moment. When I was able to see again, there was a broken 5th mix machine right in front of me. Heather was standing on the stage, staring at it like before with the flashlight pointed, and then I heard her start humming Bumble Bee. I asked her if she played, but she didnt move. The screen then suddenly flashed on, saying "Dance Dance Revolution!" like it always does, and that's when Miku of Fatal Frame comes in. A camera shows up onscreen and then she suddenly comes flying out and lands on her back. Now Heather becomes very..psycho at this point. She drops her flashlight and reveals a handgun and starts shooting at Miku screaming "Where's my little bumble bee?? You killed her!! My bee! Sweet bumble bee!" Miku starts screaming, but doesn't move, but instead raises her camera thinking Heather is a ghost. But a bullet hits Miku and she staggers back and then she fell into this...hole. There was a sign pointing down the hole saying "Abyss", and as Miku fell, she was humming the Abyss tune. Heather then looks at me, then starts charging at me with the pipe! But as she gets close, she suddenly turned into the Bumble Bee beginning backround screen and that's when I woke up.

It's pretty normal, right?

i've had a few mostly just about playing at some fantasy arcade with all to all ddr machines all free with 100 hot girls at my feet and all the AAA's i can handel yes fantasy dreams (exept the hot girls of coarse)

I had this dream that I was playing DDR against my boyfriend (who also happens to be Colorado State DDR champ), so, of course, I falied REALLY BADLY against him. Everyone made fun of me, it was so sad Oh well, just a dream right!?

Most of my ddr dreams involve me looking or searching for DDR at an Arcade. it really sucks, causs i never get t play, the other parts of it are me playing with someone famous or someone i know, I PLAYED WITH YASU ONE TIME XD.
