Pop'n Music 7 and Best Hits unlocks

Secret and Best Hits sections are the unlocked songs.

The Secret ones are all remixes, and are unlocked by full comboing the original version of the song.

The songs in Best Hits are unlocked by playing Best Hits mode.

I don't know much about Pop'n 7, though. Here are the links to the Music List and Secret page. Maybe you can make some sense of them.

Unlocking songs on Pop'n 7 is pretty much like unlocking songs on any DDR mix, you just keep playing. The only exception are the EX songs. To unlock an EX song you need to get a certain score during challenge mode (the link that CStar provided has that list). When that score is achieved you will get to play the extra stage and select which song you wanna play on EX.

Thanks for the information both of you. I figured that the PNM7's unlocks were just "by playing" but I thought there was other ways (like how in DDR US Max, you unlock by AAing a certain song).

There are conditions in which songs come out earlier if you meet them. The secrets page for pop'n 7 describes these conditions.

Everything does eventually come out on its own when enough pop-kun falling time has elapsed, though.

yea s i remember popn7 is time release for songs
the EX versions are either won in challenge mode or getting like 90k on the hyper versions

best hits is probably the easiest unlock, just play the best hits mode heh that unlocks almost all the songs
the remaing remixes are won by getting no bads on the original version
