what i mean is, a list of songs that are abundant in certain techniques (chords, scales, etc) so i can work on getting better.

I don't know about 3rd and 8th Styles, but for 6th Style some pretty good 1-4* song on L7 to try are:
Skyscraper [4*](good for separating left and right hand rhythms and reading the notes)
Fly Away [4*](good for reading notes)
Paranoia Max [3*](good for learning fast songs)
Silhoette of My Mind [3*](good for moving your fingers and for chords)
Ballad for You [3*](good for learning slow songs and for chords)
Fly through the night [4*](good for learning how to keep a beat with your left hand)
That's all I can think of for now. Of course, the best way to improve your skills is probably to keep playing the songs you know and try new ones that you think you can clear, and, of course by practicing. Playng Drill Mode on 6th Style will help you learn basic rhythms and chords as well. Eventually you'll get to a point where you can separate the notes to play with your left hand and the notes to play with your right hand, and then it'll be easier to play some of the rhythms. _________________

Or, y'all could stop talking about people an' get back to IIDX. Ok, so someone makes posts that are slightly self-absorbed: BFD. It doesn't mean anyone should publicly insult another person intentional or not. In conclusion, drop it, and pet the purple fuzzle. BTW, when is 7th console due? _________________

ANYWAY
I passed 5th Style Light7 when I was making that spreadsheet a couple days ago. I don't know why Regulus seemed so hard, because it really wasn't... _________________

I'm not the only person who posts about stuff that are only meaningful to myself. Many other people post about things that they do, and where they are in IIDX progression. I see people posting about A's on L7 songs. I see people posting about simply clearing a specific L7 song. You treat me as some criminal that does an injustice to the world by posting about what I can do. I know to hell that even you make posts about stuff that is meaningful to no one but yourself... As I've seen your pictures of your AA's on some another songs, and just clearing Safari 7key. Sure, I can't clear Safari 7key, but what meaning does that have to me???
I'm not a bad person... and I don't think I deserve people to be at my throat about things I post about... because I'm not the only one who does REGULARLY. I haven't even posted an L7 AAA for a while before these bombardments at me have risen up. I have a good idea, why don't you guys post your L7 AAA's, if you have any. I'm beginning to believe those of you who are bad mouthing me are just jealous that I am pulling off so many AAA's after only playing for 4 months.
Anyway, currently 7th style has been taken off of Konami's TBA, so no one knows for sure if it will be released, let alone when. Though, sources at Bemanistyle hint that they strive to put the game out in September... but, once again, even though this hunch is credible due to insiders; it can't be considered official. At least, this is the best to my knowledge(which I have to say, is not very credible... because I only know what people tell me. So don't get in a twist if what I say is not 100% accurate).
Twisted Silence: Thanks, I appreciate the clarification. And, when writing that statement, I was quite aware that Ryan is Leagues better than Cstar, I was just trying to mention people who can clear every song thrown at them, and those two were the only ones that came to mind. Cstar still owns me, as do you, TS, so I mean no disrespect here.
Sk1p: Good job at clearing all of L7 on 5th style. Before you know it, you'll be saying the same thing about 7key. _________________

God, this is becoming so slow I almost didn't bother to post.
Passed Strong Jaeger L7 without too much trouble (four tries), which leaves Safari and G2. Both are going to require training mode...fuck _________________

I think its just because ryanIIDX is one of the best(if not the best) players in the USA( and he can compete with many of the top players in japan too).
But CStar while being a pretty good player himself is not at that level.
I could understand if you said somebody like Ferrari because he's a damn good IIDX player too and I am amazed everytime i see him play, but Cstar just isn't up to that level yet. _________________

And Cstar hasn't ever played on an arcade machine before... And Cstar can also beat pretty much anything on 7key one handed with ease.
You guys, I've already made note that there is a HUGE gap between Cstar and Ryan. Jeez... I didn't think people would CARE this much. I have seen what Ryan can do, and it just makes me want to cry... because it's so insane, it makes me want to quit IIDX. I know Ryan can AAA pretty much any song ever on Another. And, I know that Cstar cannot compete in that category whatsoever... but, Cstar can clear everything on Another, which I think is crazy too. But then again, Ryan has had a lot more advantages in play than Cstar has... he has always had access to a IIDX machine, so he can play the latest styles, he has played regular Beatmania for years before IIDX, and he has played IIDX longer than Cstar has. Of COURSE they're not going to be on the same "level"! But, it doesn't change the fact that Cstar is DAMN good himself, while never touching an arcade machine in his life. I never said Cstar was better than Ryan... and I never meant to for the reason that Ryan is probably the best player in the USA, and nothing can top that here. But, Cstar is in the same position of many of us here... we are confined to home releases only, because we don't live in the bemani rich state of California. So, I believe his input should be quite valuable too.
My motive was to drive the fact that even though there are other people better than me that would be better to talk to for help doing a certain thing, having my input on the topic may be helpful as well just for the sake of having more than one source telling what to do.
So, please just drop the whole "OMG, you put them on the same level, that was SOOO stupid of you!" bit... I was trying to prove a point that was deeper than "who is better", but obviously you people don't care about meaning, you want everything laid perfectly(iron pressed and all). So.. can we please just stop talking about this? Thanks. _________________

I've only beat 4 Flashing 7s one handed, and I can't beat Get on Beat with ease yet.
We all know that ryan's better than me. Hell, I'm willing to bet half the people who play are better than me. Now, can we get back to posting Light 7 AAAs?
I almost AAAed Indigo Vision L7 one. But I didn't make it. |

Yes but he doesn't brag about light7 AAA's that no one cares about because of how incredibly easy they are.
Saiyajin wrote: |
Simple, because I am pulling off more AAAs after such small time of play than you did when you were at my time frame. I am learning faster than you and more AAA's than you guys did. |
By assuming this, you're making yourself looking even stupider. You are not good at IIDX, you are not faster at progressing in it, and you sure as hell have nothing worth bragging about. So why even post? I think the best advice I can give you is to log out of your account, delete your internet browser, and go out and find another hobby.
BTW; I heard you're quite the ryan stalker on AIM _________________

okay, trying to stray back towards normality. I finally passed Take It Easy[a] (on mirror) and DXY![a] (on random). That leaves just 10 more Anothers on 6th style. Romeo & Juliet[a] is getting really frustrating. I can do the ending easy on speed 4 in training mode, and about half the time on speed 5, but when I play the actual song, I always do so much worse. Then Night of Fire[a], I can do the beginning usually without too much trouble, but at the end, I just blow it, every time.
As for L7 AAA's....I've got 2, but I believe I already posted them a while back. I generally never play L7, and stick mostly to Another and 7-key, and with 7-key, I play with Random about 80% of the time, and only about half the time with Another.

Ya I did a few months ago when I first started playing.
