I actually do meet a lot of people playing ddr, I haven't gotten a boyfriend from it, I'm just hoping to meet lots of people, so far everyone I've met are really nice people, a few asking for numbers, and one hitting on me really really badly, lol. I'm also really glad I've met the nice people because some of my friends play ddr there and they said people make fun of them because they aren't very good yet, ok I think I'm starting to ramble so I'll just end it here.

ddr in my area has died down quite a bit, so its rare to find any regular people to talk to, espicially girls. Another problem is that im kinda shy too.

But anyways, to make a long story short, i met a girl in the arcade during a family vacation to reno. I got rid of my shyness though rationalizing that i would probably never see her again. We just hung out the entire weekend together playing ddr and other things. On the last day, we met in the morning at the arcade and took a picture together in one of those booths that give you the picture on stickers. And then she had to leave, so we said good bye............... but after a few steps away, i ran to give her a hug, and told her that she was cute and that i liked her... and she said she felt the same way..... and that was it.

I got her aim sn, but she is rarely on. She lives about 3 hours away from me... but we figured a long distance relationship would be too difficult. So it was decided that if we are supposed to be together, then we will somehow see each other again. THE END

now that i typed that up, it seems hard to believe it all happened.

Right so im out at the arcade and I play PARANOiA Survivor, finish that and walk over to get some water at the consession stand. Im very sweaty with my shirt stuck to me, i get my water walk back to the Extreme Machine and sit down, i sip my drink and a girl comes up to me. She says im hot, and knowing me and my bad rap to females, i tell her to go away. I must admit she was pretty, but i dont trust anyone. So Id like some feed back was i just an a55h0l3, justified in my reasoning, or just a dumba55 who should be nice to people?

xyber - i know you, so i won't say anything. ^.^ *huggles* just that i'm going to 0wnz j00 when people return from otakon.

eh, i get plenty of numbers and stuff from ddr. it's great. they're fun to hang out with, especially at random places like waffqle house and such. it's great, because most ddr players share common interests anyways (initial d, other various video games) but you still have plenty of diversity. and, you don't nearly all the trouble in the real world although there is plenty of drama.

what's really neat is this tiny connection that all ddr players seem to have. i can go to almost any arcade (Even out of town) and it's like, wow. cool people just to hang out with. but, in your home aracdes and stuff, it's great too.

i'm rambling on and on, getting off topic again. hehe. sowwies!

I honestly dont see the fuss with having a gf/bf that ddr's, sure its good because its a common interest and gives you something to talk about, but to look 'specifically' for a ddr'ing gf/bf, meh, id just take a gf period, regardless if she ddr's...

It's not a huge deal to have someone that plays but it's much funner that way. I've found that having someone that's better than you will help you to push yourself to be better as well. It's like you motivate each other because it seems you are never on the same level.

errrr i've met some OK ppl playin ddr, some good, some bad.
...but most of the time i loose more girls/gf then gain lol. i remember this one time i see this girl fail on this 3 foot then i go up and TRY 2 do cant stop fallin in love speed mix maniac...i got a b i was soo happy then she came up to me wit a mean look and SLAPO!!! ...so yeh

this happened to me for he first time last tuesday.....this girl had been there for about 4 hours and so had i (10$ unlimited play) and when she was leaving she gave everyone a friendly huge and then wispered something in this guys ear and left....he said that she wanted me to have her number but i think its fake cause when i call it no one ever answers and it keeps ringing (ive called it a bout 3-4 times a day for the last 5 days)
