Ok, i dont know how to spell and the title is probably spelled wrong but oh well.
I can do plenty of fast songs and hard songs. But for some reason I just cant seem to do waka laka on heavy! It pisses me off! I just can't seem to do the "step, step, jump, step, jump..." part. Anyone else have this problem? (By the way, waka laka kicks buttocks!) _________________

yeah, the step step jump part is widely regarded as a killer; lots of people here think that waka laka should be a 9 (i'm one of them - I think it's a lot harder than Stoic). The only thing I can suggest is to speed up the arrows so you can read them better; other than that (if you're against speed mods or whatever... ), all i can say is practice and eventually you'll get it.
it also helps to use the bar the first couple times you go through that passage so you get a feel for the arrows, then stop using the bar (i used the bar once, and then it just kinda 'clicked').
Hope this helped. Good luck! |

It also helps to look ahead a bit and know what pattern is. It goes jump URD jump ULD jump URD jump ULD jump LRD jump RLD jump (or something like that, sorry this is from memory), if you look at those steps they aren't at all complex. Speed mods might help you see the pattern
I agree with wraith, this song just eventually 'clicks' |

I like to challenge people to Waka Laka, because they say they can often pass it. However they seldom do. Yes Waka Laka is a tough song indeed. Not even some of the better players can pass it. |

Oops, except it's a really easy song to get below 5 greats on. _________________

I see......then how about the people who can't pass Waka Laka?
I also think that Broken My Heart is pretty much a slightly easier version of Waka Laka. _________________

Play it at a faster speed 1.5x or 2x. It makes it much easier to read that step-step-jump part. If you are already using speed mods then just keep practicing you will eventually get better at it. Then you can practice it at normal speed if you ever want to play it in an oni course(happy hardcore).
that part is really the only "difficult" part of the song. Once you get used to doing that its pretty easy. _________________

me and this random guy were playin one day and he was doing really good. On the last song he said (I know you've all heard this) "go ahead, pick the song". So i picked wakalaka He was doin pretty good then he got there and it was the funniest/weirdest thing i ever saw. he actually slipped and fell backwards over the bar. LOL. It was GREAT!!!! _________________

It took me longer to oni the beginning than it took me to oni the step/jump part
Not the step-gallop parts, but the "bum-bum-bum.... bum-bum-babum bum bum-bum ba-bum" or whatever.... right before the lyrics start... I used to get mad goods on those in demon road |

Yeah, I have problems with the step-jump-step pattern too just like Stoic. Waka Laka to me is so much harder cause of the Air density. Stoic is so much different. |

I always die at that part where the lyrics go "I wanna die". I get too confused at that part. I'm trying to pass it without 1.5x (I haven't tried 1.5 yet), but I just can't seem to pass it on 1x. |
