Mother - Thinks it's good except for my arm movements.
Father - Thinks it's good and likes to watch me dance. (He pays for my arcade tokens, after all.)
Brother - Doesn't care. He is not a mover.
Cousin - Plays it also but thinks I am nuts.

Brother: Does "carpet mode" with me on stepmania happy.gif. Haven't gotten out to the arcade with him yet so that he can try it out there.

Mother: Has no problem with it. Says she might try beginner on a pad once my Cobalt Flux comes in. tongue.gif

Father: Also has no problem with DDR (he was the final authority on if I was going to buy my CF.)

It's all good thumb.gif

My mom thinks it's great that I'm playing, especially since I'm a little overweight. My dad, however, has a one-track mind. he thinks that all videogames are the same.

Wow, it sounds as though you have cold families. E2.gif Too bad.

Anyway, my mother says it's good exercise, of course.

My sister thinks I am a "dorK" for playing so much.

So, yeah. E7.gif

Mom: Likes the game, says it's good exercise. Can pass After The Game on Light with a B E1.gif

Dad: Has no problem with it. Never tried it, but enjoys the actual movement of your body instead of sitting on ur butt pressing on a controller, lol.

Lil Bro: DDR Freak along with me. About the same level as me.

Lil Sis: Enjoys the game a lot and plays sometimes to hear the music.

Cousins: Loves the game... too much... x_x

Basically, my family likes the game, so no problems here. Some relatives say it's too loud and noisy though, heh

My mom actually got ahold of the local news in December and they did a story on it. Came to my house and recorded my friends and I playing. She once told me that she would try it in the comfort of her own home, but she has yet to play.

My Dad is the one that has helped me modify my pads but doesn't say much about me playing.

My brother just has his songs that he wants me to play and loves the music but will refuse to play.

Well, both parents of mine love it because its really good exercise and helps me with my stamina for karate. they also love the fact that im a tekken freak cause i get to see how the karate I study is used in battle with Jin Kazama but thats off the topic. My sister and brother are jealous that I can move so fast and my brother in law thinks its strange, where my sister in law loves it and wish she could do what I do.

My mom thinks it's hilarious. When I had the home version, she'd come in and sing along to like Have You Never Been Mellow and clap on beat like an idiot. My stepdad thinks it's gay. My brother thinks it's cool, and my dad thinks I'm gonna die from dehydration or something.

My mom always said it was good because it was a 'different, non-violent' video game, plus it was an excellent work out. My father on the other hand, he enjoyed playing it with us.

Mom: Forced me to buy the home version so I can stop going to the arcade so often. Occasionally wants to go see me when I play at the arcade.
Dad: Enjoys the fact that I like doing some sort of physical activity, but would probably rather that I went jogging or something more traditional. Actually, so does Mom.
Brother (younger): Doesn't care for it the way I do, but holds mild interest. Cares not to admit interest while I'm around, but can hold his own on most Basic songs.

If I ever have kids, and they end up getting into Bemani, I'll be right there next to them, playing along.

Mom:I'm not totally sure about her. She seems cool with it, will give me rides, i mean as long as i'm spending my own money. I think she's just glad i'm doing something that is somewhat close to a workout as i hate sports.

Dad:He doesn't really care. He's given me rides before but complains whenever i ask.

Lil Sister:I've been trying to get her to play with me. A while ago her and her friend seemed pretty interested. I'm trying to get that interest back so i have someone to play with.

Littlest Sister: Ugh. Can you say annoying? She whines everytime i ask for a ride saying that she never gets to go anywhere and that i'm only going so i can waste money play "dancing revolution". I have begun to ask whenever she isn't around just to avoid all the choas about how she's not allowed to spend her money, or where i'm getting all my money from, or how i have been plotting to steal her money, or something else stupid.

Mom- likes to see me happy, so she lets me play
Dad- would prefer to see me applying myself to something more useful, but doesn't really mind.
Younger Sister- ha ha ha. Like she'll ever appreciate it.
