A friend of mine already got Pop'n 8 so he's gonna bring it by later so I can check it out.

Oh yeah, here's a lil mod I did on my ASC to make the buttons not wobble as much. It also reduces the noise a little bit too.

Basically, what I did was insert little paper strips inbetween the buttons and the holes in which they sit in.

First I cut some paper into strips. I used cardstock because it's thicker than regular paper and seemed to fit really well. The strips are long enough to circle the button and are a tiny bit more than 1/2 inch wide.

Next I placed three strips of scotch tape onto the paper strip. Without the tape, the paper comes back up after you've pressed a button a couple of times.

Then I inserted the strips inbetween the button and the hole it sits in. You have to slide it in. Insert it at an angle and then start feeding the strip into the space between the button and the hole it sits in. After you're done inserting the strip just tape the strip to the button itself so it doesn't move.

That's it! It doesn't seem to affect your timing as far as I could tell. I was still able to do the same as I usually do right now.

Those who have it now probably live in Japan or on the west coast. Seeing as Japan is a day ahead, today would be the day they get theirs. And since most of the import dealers (NCS is the exception, being in NY) reside on the west coast, they probably got theirs a we bit earlier.

Though, NCS has shipped the pre-orders and even with expected delivery on Friday, its the Fourth of July and nobody's gettin' any mail that day fo' sho.

Supposedly, the soundtrack that came with all pre-orders wasn't the V-Rare, but a CD that had long versions of some of the CS songs on it. Still a pretty good deal I think.
