usually i say,"umm... im playing doubles" or "im gonna play neo naoki..." and usually they can't play. haha!
anywho in singles, usually i ask them to pick cuz, i dunno what i'm playing. and if we still cant decide.. i just pick random.

I am a guy and I just go up, who ever goes up with me, I usually let them pick 1 of the songs since it is my turn.

If a girl wants to go up with I will most likely do whatever they want to do, if they wanna do an easy oni course like Naoki Standard then I will do it with them. I always push them and myself to do the best, they say I help them when I go up with them.

I agree with you Technik. That is exactly what i do. There are a selected few girls in my area that will go up with me and bust out some AA's on 9 footers

okay, yeah girlz don't play DDR as much as guyz do, I think they have different prioritys, but that doesn't mean no girls can play. And okay, I am a girl and I would like you to know that I like Rythem and Police, umm, Era, Abyss, kind lady and my summer love. I dunno, all DDR songs rock!

Yeah, sometimes I'll play with girls but usually I like to play by myself cause I love to work on my PAing and the right to choose what I want. I play Doubles too which takes 2 pads. Heh.

Ok, I'm a girl... and this IS what a DDR GIRL wants to hear... not what a DDR Guy THINKS a DDR Girl wants to hear.

Anyways... I was playing DDR tonight, and I was dancing with a few of my friends, and this one guy there was pretty good... better than me, at least. Anyways, since one of the pads is STILL messed up, he was shadowing me. Of course, he was WAY better than me, so it wasnt much of a workout, but I also haven't been seriously playing for long.

On a side note though, although I could barely breathe, I played Tsugaru for my first time ever, and was crazy enough to try it on Standard (Extreme). Then I did Sakura on Light (also my first time ever) and got B's on both songs. Not too bad for my first time IMO.

Anyways, that's my 2 cents worth, being a DDR Girl. I just play. If they ask if I wanna play or shadow, or FS or whatever, I usually say sure, why not? I'm also not afraid to make a fool out of myself though, unlike some girls in my area.

Being the only DDR player thats a girl in my stupid area.. no one has ever asked me to play, on several occasions I've asked people to play with me but they're always like "No, I just like watching" .. no, more like "I just want to worship my boyfriend while he freestyles Dynamite Rave on heavy mode ::kneedrop::"

If i want to play then i will play i do not care who else joins at all or who i join for that matter, Unless its a really flirty guy in which case i will pick something i know i can waste him at! ( i.e. me AA so deep or cartoon heroes )

Out of the majority of the girls I have played DDR with (Kel being one of them) I usualy get my rear end handed to me. Then they are the ones telling me I did great and sniker behind my back. (Kel being an exception... I think)

The other exception to this rule was when I was at Game Works in Ybor City and this one lady had just a little too much to drink that night I beleive and she saw me doing my thing on the pad and wanted to learn. So I tried to teach her. We did like "So Many Men" on basic so she could get the hang of it. It was kinda funny to watch her as I was nailing it (even if the song is annoying as hell). Anyway after we did our set of songs she was like wow your really good. I was like ummm yeah sure....

When she sat back at the bar with a few of her lady friends I decided to hit the 3rd mix machine again and strut some more of my stuff untill the real ddr players arrived and then I didn't do much after that. (Too embarassing).

Okay, I love to play DDR so I got a the ps2 version of the game and one dance pad, but my girl friend is on the thing more than I am! She can dance an A on "I like to move it" and some times she gets more perfects in the songs that I do. She's getting pretty good and can beat alot of my friends. But there's no way shes gunna beat me cuz GUYS RULE THE DANCE FLOOR!

Well, I used to see alot of female players in Central London but not so much these days unless I go to a ddr meet. I know about 4 girls that can do Max300 heavy (One of them is possibly better than I am except I can play with hard mods etc). o_O;;

I have seen quite a few girls that could own me at another arcade I hang out at in Central but they rarely play since they started playing when ddr first came out over here(I've been playing 15months). I ask to play with girls sometimes if I see that they are good and they usually let me pick the songs (I usually ask what kind of songs they like first).

I've NEVER seen any female freestylers except on vid clips.
