|
|
Since getting stepmania, I have gone on a quest to get the full collection from the more notable dwi artists. I found that some makers are unreliable and sometimes make offbeat music, but I have a growing list of artists who consistently make quality dwi's.
Who do you think is the best?
my favorites are:
1. Udderdude
2. Cynic
3. Kamek
4. DWInsanity
5. Customized Intensity (Jakazid)
6. Bemaniruler
and honorable mentions:
MJEmirzian
Arch0wl
DJ Ren
CMCM
Who else should be on this list? |

I liked Cynic's Evanescence DWIs. Unfortunately, he doesn't know how to spell "Evanescence". |

Dave Phaneuf (DWI Palace)
FoOby (DWInsanity)
CmCm
ddrmax9898 and djcomet (The Frozen Arrow Division)
Honrable mentions go to MJEmirzian and Udderdude. Udderdude has made a ton of quality DWI's and MJEmirzian does the best DDR remix steps i've seen. _________________

Udderdude has a crazy number of songs....like over 100 I think, and they are all danceable on a pad, not just keyboard DWI's.
Konami should hire him to make the steps for their next mix |

I know. I was talking about those two or three. Maybe it's the mellow steps or the song choice, but I really liked So I Wait... |

oh great.. I get lumped in with a bunch of keyboard monkeys. Who else are you going to get quality doubles charts from, or real step charts that are as high quality as any official chart, along with experimental and extra-difficult charts. There's more control and power going on in one of my charts than 10 of Udderdude's (my brother) charts.. he churns them out allright but they are boring. Now just because I mostly do DWIs to DDR remixes doesn't mean my charts aren't good. And I do have some originals. |

why are you complaining? It's still a compliment...and uh...you're sounding a bit full of yourself, don't you think? Just an observation, but you seem mighty critical of others' work, and totally hype your own stuff. Not a good policy. I'm my own biggest critic, which is why I like a grand total of 3 of my dwi's, only out of 10, but still, that's not many. Your remix/megamix dwis really are good, and from what I saw, someone stated that...instead you use this as an opportunity to bash the others? don't get it. _________________

I would have liked to get Paranoia Disaster X into DDRMAX 2 US, but I don't think it's going to happen. Maybe someone can start a petition or something, I dunno. It would be nice to see
If I had to choose some DWIs that are Konami originals for DDRMAX 2 US, I'd pick Bitmania, Blueberry Stream, Double Orbit, Klungkung 1655, Love Is Orange, MIDNITE BLAZE (SySF Mix), Motion, Outer Limits, Starmine, Tower Of The Sun, VJ Army and Zero One .. of course, not all of them would make it
