BM98 problem:
I tried loading up my songs on BM98, and while they show up just fine in the stage select screen, when I try to actually play the songs I get this error:
Compile Error! Line=15 WAVFF (whatever song it is).mp3
Can someone please tell me the first thing I should try to correct this problem, or at least point me to a english site where i can get these questions answered? Thanks in advance. _________________

A little bit of brainstorming on my behalf:
1. The files that I'm trying to play are from IIDX 8th Style, and I know that only recently BM98 has added support for the 7-key files. Is there a newer version of BM98 than 3.30 (what I'm using now), and does anyone know where to find it?
2. The error that I get talks about an .mp3 file. Shouls I try converting my .mp3 files that I am using for BM98 into .wav format?
3. Is BemaniDX really all that? If it is then I say screw BM98.... _________________

#WAVFF 2002.mp3 |

Yes. I checked all of the code concerning that line and those lines are correct.
Answering to my own #3 I got BemaniaDX on Sunday, and it loads all of my IIDX songs with no problem. The only thing I don't like is the insanely long load time for each song... _________________

Are there any changes in settings for BemaniDX that I can make so the program itself will run faster? I used to use bemanidx before and it worked lag-free, but now it seems like it skips frames, and the load time is considerably longer than before.
Running in window causes my color to be a little messed up (Big purple blocks), so that's out of the question I believe. |

Ok, I've looked through about half of this thread and I'm tired of looking to see if this's been asked. (You would be too)
Where can I find any simfiles for DoremiMania and Bandjam. The only site I know for Bandjam is M-G-Z and the site is down. Thx _________________

okay now i have a question that actually belongs here, is there anyway i can make BemaniaDX hold more than 200 songs? or is there any program that can hold more than 200 songs? i think there is a way to tell BemaniaDX to look in multiple folders (which i did) but it still limits me to 200 songs, which bothers the whatever out of me . any help would be greatly appreciated |

GT-R: check www.musicgamer.com for DM/GF files. I don't remember the good KBM site I used to go to, but just google for DoReMiMania and you'll find something.
GTO: I don't know about the 200-song limit, but I bet Rhythm-It doesn't have that limit. It's all personal preference, but I happen to like it a lot better and I'm pretty sure I've got over 200 songs with it. |

you have to set your desktop to 16 bit color(rightclick on desktop - properties - settings) to run in windowed mode with the right colors

if you convert all the mp3's to wav's...it'll only take a second or two to load |

I need some help with Rhythm It... The other day, I opened up Rhythm It, and it was fine at first, but I noticed that it said "Direct X HAL disabled", so I re-enabled that, and then I guess I pushed some button I was in "Catch it!" mode, so I tried that ('twas fun), and then played a normal game except... the notes are super fast. On all my songs, I can't read the notes, because they fall down insanely fast. I can barely catch a glimpse of them as they fall, rendering the game useless.
I tried un-installing it and then re-installing, but I still have the problem what's wrong? _________________

Check the settings... maybe you're locked into 8x speed mod or something? |

I was just wondering if any dummania sims supported the offical drumset (or just set the buttons for a psx controller because they can be considered the same thing). I have been unsuccessful with that DTX sim, although I might just be doing it wrong, and if you can do with it please explain how... thanks |
