I have lost weight, met more people, spent way too much time on DDRFreak, and play that dancing game too often. I am also a couple hundred dollars poorer now, as well.

how has DDR changed my life? Well. It put a nice dent in my wallet. I've met plenty of girls because of DDR. But.....BLAH! that's all I gotta say. I havent really gained anything honestly. I also have a new girlfriend so I dont play as much anymore. I'm going to devote a lot of my summer to her and spend time with her.

Its a social thing for me more than a video game. I don't play that much anymore (actually only when I go home, but that's rare) but I still hang out with the people I met through DDR.

Since I'm now unemployed, DDR is almost the center of my life (I have lots of other things, but DDR is the one constant.) It's helped me loose weight, it's made me more dexterous of the feet, given me more stamina, made it easier for me to keep a beat, addicted me to bemani in general, which in turn gve me the idea to start drumming occationally for my band (yay DM), it's made all my friends sick of hearing me talk about it and it's taken about $2000 out of me and my husband's bank account, including buying special shoes and clothing for playing as well as the normal home game stuff. It's made me return to my old college campus once in a while, it gave me an excuse to see my mother and it gave my grandmother an excuse to tell me that I needed a better bra.

And it's made me talk on boards like this, which I never used to do.

And it's just made the last 2+ years more fun, happier and sweatier.

well I met a few people. And it gives me something to do.

I don't post here because of the game. I post here because one of my friends told me to and I just got addicted to posting in my spare time.

I haven't really met anybody from playing. Of course there is a reason for that I won't list here.

But DDR was just a new challenge for me. It's one of those games that you really cannot ever "beat"
