DDR modifiers you'd like to see

I would like a x0.5 speed mod, first time I played Max300 was hella hard.

The true shuffle sounds fantastic.

My modifer would be to get rid of the message "Perfect, good, etc..." and the combo. You wouldn't know how well you did until the end of the song results. I want this because I was showing a friend how to play ddr and he said, "I can't see all the arrows, the words are in the way" and after that, it got in my way too (damn him) wish he didn't say anything.

*As a side note, I've tried this at home, and I can get a B on Max 300 hvy with the music muted. What's cooler, is I, and onlookers, can hear the song through my footsteps.

the idea about different independant scrolling arrow speeds sounds the best to me.

heres my idea, and i know im not the only one to think of it. side scrolling arrows. arrows start on the right and end on the left.

what i would really like is some way to practice freestyle moves either with the feet or arms. i usually play on heavy songs and wish i could find some way to freestyle on songs too. being good at perfect attack is one thing, but being able to do crazy moves is another way to excell above other people who have not tried doing different moves while doing hard songs and stuff like that.

I like to see Expand, it's like Boost but tricky! I don't like the Drunk, Dizzy and the other crappy mods in SM.

i think the blink mod from ez2dancer was really cool. basically the song was in stealth but in every 1/4 beat (i believe) the arrows would be visible only in a blink.

there was also one i thought of myself. i don't know what to call it, but throughout the song, you would play through without the combo showing, nor the grading of perfect, great, good, boo, miss, etc. you'd only know how well you were doing at the end of the song.

Put the step zone in the middle of the screen. Arrows can either scroll up to, or down into to the step zone. This could be rather difficult. Especcialy if you miss an arrow, and it continues up, or down, past the step zone.

Have a mod where every single arrow in the song is swirling in a vortex that occupies the bottom 2/3rds of the screen and the arrows pop out to the top 1/3rd like sudden but the other arrows pop out at you as they're being juggled so you can get faked out and stuff.

Slow arrows were introduced in the arcade back with Solo 2K. It made Drop Out interesting to read. I would like to see it brought back though.

Another mod I would like to see in the arcade would be "Arrange Mode" from 1st Mix home version. Where you get an "Ouch" for ghost stepping. Forcing players to only step on "in game" arrows. Would make PA a lot more interesting watching people keep a beat without an arrow to step and keep beat on.

Am I evil or what?

Double Dark- No gide arrows and the arrows are only seen halfway up and then vanish again. (I know the name sucks)

Dark Bar 1, 2, or 3- Hide one arrow from being displayed or up to three so only for example the left arrow would be the only visible arrow and the rest you wouldn't know when they would show up. Good practice for stealthers.[/b]

the arrow pattern is in the middle and arrows come from the top and bottom.

or where the arrows come up then suddenly come down to mess you up.like rewind but you have to hit them again.

This has nothing to do with anything, but I dreamt I was playing DDR, and not only did the arrows scroll toward the guides at first like the Space option in StepMania (ie like the Star Wars opening scroll), then start spiraling around like a roller coaster (that is, still a solid, three-dimensional scroll), but the actual FOOTPAD was moving toward and away from the screen at random intervals. Even in my dream, I failed the song, whatever it was...
