Drummania hi-hat adjustment (arcade)

A lot of places around here have drum mania, but it's rare to find a machine that doesn't have the hi-hat too close to the snare. Is there a way to adjust the level of the hi-hat by yourself, or do you need tools to do it?

I wasn't aware that you -could- adjust it. I'd assume the only way to do it would be to take it apart and do it yourself; I've never seen this done, though.

I do know that sort of thing isn't intended to be done without something like a good hex wrench. Take a look at how it's mounted though. I'm not sure if the mounting rack allows you to change much more than the incline angle.
