Preferably Beatmania or IIDX, because those are the easiest to find.
I've got the Beatmania 3rd Style CD, and it freakin rocks. |

The 8th Style OST is pretty rad.
The order of my favorites would be:
8th Style
4th Style
6th Style
7th Style
5th Style
or you can get also History of beatmania IIDX. Has mostly good songs from 1st Style to 5th.

Lots of good stuff on 7th, but 8th is nice too. One of my friends just picked up the 4th OST, which I like a lot too since those were the first IIDX songs I was exposed to.

Whoa...Dues Ex is into Beatmania. I never knew that before! You learn something new everyday! :grin:

My favorite soundtrack/collection is: good-cool super collection
it has a lot of great songs made by good-cool of course. I beleive most of his stuff goes to beatmania mixes/styles |

I absolutely love the Mother 1 OST, with the vocal rea---oops, Bemani, Bemani.
Well I'll have to agree that 7th and 8th Style are pretty damn good. 7th Style edges out 8th, just because it has more songs I like. But 8th has Pink Pong.... |
