What is the difference between the mixes anyway? I was playing it with Andy at Dorney Park!

Well, I wouldn't take this in much regard if it was a 5th, Max, Max2 machine, but sadly, it was a PIU machine.

Lol that hilarious.

Also, when I bring my pads and game to a party and I get the one hesitant player to play when the announcer says "FINAL STAGE"

Everyone wrote:
WHAT? FINAL STAGE? I DIDN'T WANT THAT!

'Is that exercise?' (While I'm standing there at the end of a song, wiping away sweat and breathing hard.)

I ran through a few possible choice answers, but I was nice and settled on 'It depends'.

Not quite DDR, but after I finished a game of Pump Extra:

Guy: You're pretty good.
Me: Thanks.
Guy: You played Hydro Thunder yet?
Me: ...

I was with a friend at the arcade playing. He was doing 4s or 5s back then, as I recall.

And so this one guy comes in with a group of friends. They all play, but he just sits off to the side.

Every time my friend went up, he'd say stuff like "This obviously isn't your game. You should go play something else."

We left early so we could spend some time bitching about him. Even though he didn't say anything to me, I wanted to yell at/hit/both him.

That's right, I wanted to both him.

"OH GOD, that kid just bothed me! Help, guys!"

*friends back away*

Someone talking about a tournament they were in with just their friends, and being very impressed that they FCed Super Star during final match. Note that the song in the previous round had been MAX300, and all four players had passed the song easily.

"It's easier to pass MAX300 than to full-combo anything."

It's not as stupid as some of the stuff other people have quoted, but it just stands out for me.

lmao...

When I was at Great America once, I was doing DDR and this group of old fog- I mean elderly women pass by me, and as I finish my last song, they ask me a plethora of questions, such as,
"So, how do you play this?"
"Is this fun?"
"How long have you played this?"
"Oh my god!" (Okay that's not a question, but SOMEONE said it.)

And then came that question after one song they did, on beginner.
"Do you pay for the next song?"

Thank God for supressants.

Was playing on a 3rd mix, and some guys were doin' light stuff.... I was watching, waiting for my turn.

I put the machine on SSR, and they came up and said, "There's no way you can do this"

After I got done with my set, they said...

"You cheated! There's no way anyone could beat Dynamite Rave!"

Ugh...

I shoulda replied with "nope, it makes you obese E1.gif"

I play it in a bowling alley by my house. It is relatively quiet (as in not many people play it, not as in the machine is muted). Anyway, my good friend who i always play DDR with was talkin to some friends at the alley, and i told him to hurry up so we could play... so what does he say... "Wow... you are really obsessed with that game!... no crap! I have Stepmania, DWI, Delight Delight Reduplication, AND a DDR demo on my computer, PLUS i usually spend like 15 or so bucks (Canadian) a week on the machine! frust.gif

"Your stealing my turn by using both sides" whilst in mid play of my first song. disgust.gif devil.gif

Lets see it was my turn. My dollar. I was playing doubles and the new person was clueless on the concept.
