I've been posting this for like a week now and nobody had helped me out. Has anyone use the Official Sony Controller (No DualShock)? And if so would they please tell where all the solder points are. Thanx in advance.

Sounds interesting. I bought some magnets to experiment with but decided they weren't worth the effort. The amount of fine-tuning required was far too high so I decided to opt for nut spacers and 1/8" flex.

i will be using .22 inch plexiglass, its similar to the one riptide uses in his video
homedepot sells a sheet of 2'x4' for 27 dollars ( which will be enough for 2 pads for me, this pad will not be capable for adding lights )

i forgot about controllers and some other small things,
final price for 2 pads probably end up around 80-85 bucks. no corner braces so, thats a huge chunk off.

also, i wont have to worry about cutting ANY wood diagonally, so thats a nice plus.

if i can do this flawlessly i will post up some more details.

i wish i had more info on riptides UV led's because those lit up the arrow perfectly. And what his viewing angle was

I wanted to thank the people who were helping me about the Lexan. During a fit of insomnia last night, I worked out the rough sketch of my pad. I picked up something that isn't plywood (forgot the word for it), some 2x4's, and a Skil Saw 5700 (the one with the light). today. My local Lowes only has one sheet of .250 plexiglass. Home Depot has something (would be nice if it is labled or something) in lots of sizes. I was going to get the .250, but I heard some people are getting two layers of thinner stuff and sandwiching the picture inside. If I use two sheets instead of one, what size should I be using?
If my design works, I will be posting detailed blue prints (I'm not good at narrative directions). Each step will have a micro switch from mouser electronics and a knob for fine tuning the sensitivity. I'm figuring that the plexiglas will flex just enough in the middle and return to it's flat shape. if it doesn't, then I will have to change the design just a little. OK, now for the second question, Don't forget the first was how thick plexiglas should be if I use two sheets for each step with arrow papers in the center. Second is does the plexiglas retain a flat shape or will it eventually get bent?

Hey Im going to be building my pad soon and Im interested in the microswitch idea. Can anyone explain how that owrks and what it actually does...or ia it a bad idea to go with the switch.
