I actually wasted around 60 $ getting two topways a while back... before the whole guitar boy thing. Stupid me -_-''
Hmm... does anybody know how I should go about installing my keyboardmania control (on the pc)?
I've plugged it in, and apperently XP reconizes it as a game controller... but I wanna set it up with the midi drivers and such... so like... WHEEE... can anybody help? I'm trying to get this to work with doremi mania, if you couldn't already guess.
Ohh yeah... and is it possible to change to highspeed 1 or 2 on doremi? _________________

Just curious, but does anyone have the dimensions of the Official Konami IIDX Controller (not the Konami ArcadeStyle), or can anyone quickly measure the controller? I already have one ordered from yesasia.com and I just want to see where I can put it. _________________

I want to say it's roughly the length of a keyboard, or around 16 inches, but I'll get a more exact measurement of it for you when I get home.
Can someone help me get a IIDX ASC? Since getting a true arcade machine seems out of the question for now in the area I live in, I'm looking for the next best thing, but I can't speak or type Japanese, so I have no way of ordering from those Asian auction sites. _________________

Try this:
Open 2 browsers, one at www.rinkya.com and search for beatmania. Open another browser, go to altavista.com and click translate. Take the url of rinkya with the search results and paste it under the web page text box.
[EDIT] Actually you can just copy the url, then at the top of the page under "rinkya" you can click translate from there. _________________

so the red/black drummania is the only one made for this game? I don't really plan on learning to play the drums, just enjoy the game so I don't want to spend $$$$$$$$ out the buttocks. is the one at www.redoctane.com the same as the konami one or what? |

ok, I need a quick confirmation about iidx controllers.
Someone in Japan said that they can get the Konami ArcadeStyle controllers but they said they wouldn't work on American PS2's.
I could have sworn that I've read awhile back that they'd work on any PS2 because the wires aren't really that different when plugged into the controller port.
so do they work on any version of the PS2? Does the same thing go for Pop n Music controllers? |

I was wondering if either i didn't do something right or i need to re set it up
Ok I bought one of these
http://www.redoctane.com/beatmaniacontroller.html
and I used it on my psx for a while and PS2 whenever there was one to play IIDX on , for some strange reason when i played BM psx and plugged it in the second controller port wouldn't work with a controller in it and when i unplugged it , it started working again.. moving on
a few days ago i recieved one of these
http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=55&products_id=236&
I bought it to use with my BM controller and BemaniaDX but it only works PERFECTLY with my ps2 dualshock
I have a radioshack 3-12v adapter and its currently set at 7.5volts
I am using the psx pad ( www.psxpad.com ) drivers. the second to newest ones , not the newest .
Can you help me figure out what the funk im doing wrong !? I soo want to play my collection of 300 songs ( including 7th which took FOREVER to find the bmss )
Help will be much apprecieated
@_@ wow i haven't posted in FOREVER _________________

Peripherals (controllers, memory cards, etc.) have no region lockouts.
They work on any system. |

My controller that I got with the european box set version of beatmania is not working for the best hits game that I just purchased. Im sick of playing that damn european game in black and white(Its PAL) and now I get a decent game and the controller is being an ahole. So instead of using that beginner controller Im thinking about buying a new better one. Any suggestions on the best beatmania controller out there? |

I never got to thank you for your help, but thanks! What you posted worked perfectly, and it looks like if I want one of these, I'm going to be spending close to $700 bucks for one. That's just crazy...but it's not like they are being mass produced like PS2s were, and people used to shell out over $700 for those back during holiday season. _________________

Damnit! I was home sick for three STRAIGHT days with two of those controllers sitting in front of me, and I didn't measure one for you! I'll do it as soon as I get off work man. I'm not reliable at all when I'm sick. _________________

OK.
I'm looking at the DJ Station Pro. It's orgasmic to me, and I want it.
Too bad the only place I fouund it was at Toysandjoys. The last time I ordered something from there (arouund christmastime) they were a month late and I got DDR 5th mix around late January. Not good.
Have they improved? Where else can I find them? And if absolutely necissary, is the Konami official IIDX controller the best choice for someone who has no intention of using those extra two keys? |

Question about the DrumMania controller: I hear a lot of people talk about how the pedal that comes with both the topway and the official is not very good, and that they substituted it with a pedal they got with a light gun. Can anyone tell me which light gun this is? I'm looking for a LG too so it shouldn't be too much trouble to get it and the drumset. |

there's usually one going on ebay, plenty on rinkya, and maybe one or two in the marketplace forum. _________________

I know some of the Yamaha electronic drumsets work with drummania but are there any other drumsets that will work. I noticed this one just came out: http://www.pacificdigitalcorp.com/products/usbdrumset.asp
I don't know if the way the data is sent from the drumset to usb is in a standard format that any drumset would work or if only Yamaha drumsets will work since they made the drums for the arcade machines. If anyone has some more information I'd appriciate it.
Thanks _________________
