Yo. I think Max 300 is the hardest Max. I've played Maxx Unlimited and it was harder in difficulty, but it wasn't as exhausting or has as much beat as 300. I can barely pass 300 because it is so tiring. But on the other hand, the Legend of Max looks almost impossible to do. To me Max 300 is hardest. E19.gif

I'm tempted to say PSM-oni- but I'll refrain. E13.gif

Of Max 300, Maxx Unlimited, and The Legend of Max, I think that Maxx Unlimited is easily the hardest.

MaxX Unlimited is first and foremost the hardest. Lots of high speed jumps, awkward patterns, and whatnot.

Legend of Max is a distant second, but it's still pretty hard. Reason being the speed, of course. It's not as confusing as Unlimited in any way, but the speed really is Hellish on you.

Max 300 is at the bottom. ... seriously ... it's just a bunch of running. At least LoM has difficulty due to crazy jumps which lead into runs, plus 33 more BPM.

... and on a sidenote, LoM on Doubles is one crazy mofo. Those triplets that scatter all across three different steps at that speed is just wrong.

Regular stage: Maxx > Max300 > LOM
Extra stage: LOM > Maxx > Max300

I disagree phillip E15.gif I would have to say 300. I can't pass it consistently because it never stops while unlimited is more technical. I happen to be good at that. Honestly it all comes down to opinion. Some are good at speed while otheres are good at tech. so just play and have fun and don't worry about it.

maxx > lom > max300 (on single regular stage)

i mean, if i can beat max300...well...it's gotta be the easiest of the three riiight.gif maxx unlimited seems much, much harder than lom to me; maybe it's because i'm not a great tech player. nevertheless...i see myself passing lom before i pass maxx.

The hardest BY FAR is MaxX Unlimited, then The Legend of Max, and then MAX 300-- MaxX Unlimited>The Legend of Max>Max 300

Then Extra Stage--MaxX Unlimited>The Legend of Max>MAX 300

--That is for me anyways, cause passing MaxX Unlimited for me took sooo long to on Extra Stage, and that song is a bitch at the end. As for The Legend of Max is not AS hard on Extra Stage but still competes, but I did beat it faster...it's just technically easier[pattern wise], than MaxX Unlimited which had much harder patterns, making me more tired........ disturb.gif

Here's my ratings:

-MaxX Unlimited
-Legend Of Max
-Max 300

that's all I can say...

Oddly enough....

I've B'ed MaxX Unlimited and C'ed Legend but I've had a better time passing legend more than MaxX..I guess because I got more perfects on MaxX Unlimited.

Hardest in terms of what?

I got past the frezze in Maxx several times; didn't actually beat it tho. disgust.gif

As for 300, I remember once I lasted a whole 25 seconds. Serously, I can't do that song worth jack.

LoM I haven't played; it is not unlocked on my Extreme, so this is just a hypothesis. It is probaly the hardest (for me at least).

As for comboing, it is pretty much Maxx, LoM, Max hardest first.

My 2 Cents.

Enjoy!

Well maybye you beat LoM extra stage faster than you did MaxX Unlimited because.. now you're better than when you played MaxX as extra stage?

If I could play LoM ex on a Max2, with the ~17-25 boo+miss as opposed to 5 boo+miss, it wouldn't be any harder than Maxx Unlimited...

I find Legend of Max harder than Max Unlimited and Unlimited harder than 300. I've seen LOM been played regular and it's wicked fast. I haven't really touched Maxx Unlimited but I can't get too far. Max 300, I'm still tryna pass... disgust.gif

Something people need to consider about LoM:
It has damn near the fastest steps in the GAME. 1/8ths at 333 = 1/16ths at 167. The fastest songs with more than two 1/16ths back to back are at 170, and the longest such chain (I know of) is something like five notes long. The legend of MAX has long 1/8th runs around the pad at 333 BPM. That's damn tough.

What MaxX Unlimited has going for it are complex rhythms and nasty jumping, but TloM's jumping isn't a cakewalk either, especially in the first half of the song.

I mean, I have enough trouble moving my feet fast enough for MAX300, and the second half of MaxX destroys me. I don't want to THINK about The legend of MAX.

Well I think its:

Singles: Maxx Unlimited>LoM>Max300
Singles Ex: LoM>Maxx U>Max300

Doubles: LoM>Maxx U>(distant 3rd)Max300

On singles even though I've been able to get a higher grade on Maxx U(A) compared to LoM(B), i still think Maxx U is harder. Max300 is by far the easiest for me, to consistently get a decent combo/grade(either A or AA)

On doubles: Well I've only tried LoM once and failed miserably sometime after the freeze. That song is hella hard and I need to practice it more, but I don't play doubles very often any more. Maxx U is pretty hard too, but I can usually survive that with a C/B. Max300 is the easiest of all three and the only hard part is the ending.
