You are saying this because you're terrible. Go back to kitty heavy mode.

I dont pretend to be that great off a PIU player, but even i can do a lot of the crazy stuff. I have said this like at least 6 times on this thread, but i will say it again:It's not that hard. It just looks that way. I remember a time when dynamite rave on basic was impossible. But if i kept thinking that, i would have never got better, tried other games in the genre, and would have never known how much fun Winter on crazy or Will o the wisp on all wild style could be.

Yeah it does look impossible, still no idea how to hit some of the steps and the people here are like me and are used to ddr and just starting out in PIU and we are not creative enough to figure it out on our own....... riiight.gif Ill get it eventually.........any suggestions for good songs to attempt to do on crazy?

Yes, actually. There are a few I like to do commonly.

Summer of Love - 2X Boost recommended. There are a lot of 1/16 beats and I believe there are around 350-400 steps. You'll probably get tired on your first attempt, so get ready to use the bar.

Man & Woman - The song name is in Korean, so look for the band name "Cool" and a BPM around 176 to locate this song. Don't need a boost here if you're good with 1/8 beats, but I'd recommend a boost anyway. The song will be rather fast for a beginner on Crazy, so be prepared.

Sad Salsa - I don't get it. On every mode on the game, they rate this song at a higher difficulty than it should be. It's a fun stage if you are familiar with the song. You could use a boost here if you'd like. It would really help out in the end.

Ugh! There is one more song I just can't think of! I'll remember it later though.

I was dissapointed that they didn't put Cordiality/Another a true heart in Crazy mode.

First off, enable "Speed x2", this makes the game a lot more enjoyable. And seriously, there are Crazy songs that are easier than the Lv9/10 songs on Hard. "As I told you", for example. Other good Crazy songs to start off with include: Run to you, Naissance, Sad Salsa, Solitary IMO.

In other news, I can now do pretty much everything up to Lv9 on Double (The Premiere) and most songs up to Lv7 on Crazy (including Loner). How you are supposed to do Can-Can (especially in Double), is beyond me though.

Random FYI: Ever wondered why the heck Loner is a Lv1 on Crazy or Can-Can is a level 5 on Double? It's a display bug, you gotta add a 1 to those levels (Can-Can: Lv15, Loner: Lv11). Same goes for some other songs as well.

Incorrect. E7.gif These are, infact, the actual levels. These songs were first introduced in PIU Extra. PIU Extra replaced Crazy mode with eXtra eXpert. The levels in eXtra eXpert ranged from 1 to 5, with Can Can being rated "Final Level."

There is also an explaination of the incorrect Double ratings for these songs. Each song featured in eXtra eXpert also had XX Double steps, and they were in the same mode as the Crazy steps. Example. XX Double steps are basically the Crazy steps made into double. Same steps as Crazy, but you're now doing them on both sides.

When Andamiro USA put these songs into PREX, they left the songs exactly the same as they were in Extra, which meant having the same levels. This explains why the titles of the songs are still in Korean. The other problems of freezing with PREX shows that Andamiro wasn't working very hard in the production of this mix.

Fortunately, the levels have been fixed in Prex2. Can Can is now a level 10 on Crazy and Double, and Holiday is an 8, I believe. I'm not sure about the Double level. Counting and remembering a row of stars is not as easy as remembering a printed number while you're scrolling through songs~

Yeah, but does anyone know the difficulty of Starian on Double? On PREX it is LV. ____!

Whoo, passed my first suicideish song: Chicken Wing. At one point you're stepping at 800 bpm! And it has a lot of twisty freeze arrows, much like Exotic Ethnic on Heavy Double.

Does anyone have any tips on passing TrashMan? I lose it on the first set of heavy guitar riffs.

Is Dr.M gallopy on Hard (Normal) or Crazy?

Gee, I have a lot of questions now...

Holiday doubles is one of the craziest songs on PIU.

I beat it like a few weeks ago. Stomping like crazy to get all those 3 arrows at once thingies. Slam and Can Can on EXEX are hard also. Oh yeah, I forgot Vook!!! Need soooo much stamina for that crap.

I guess my biggest accomplishment is PIU is... I don't know there are too many. riiight.gif Yeah. I'm arrogant and what!

Don't let crazy mode intimidate you, the gap between Hard to Crazy may be a little wider than the gap between Standard to Heavy, but in the same way, with a little practice you'll catch on. I'd say keep playing Hard mode until you can do the tougher songs without much trouble, and work on turning to hit each panel in succession. The more practice with turning you get in the slower songs, the more comfortable you'll be in crazy mode.

Okay, I happened to come acress a copy of The 1st Step To The BanYa.
My question, most of the song titles are in Korean (I believe).
Does anyone know the track listing in english, or a site that has it?
Thanks in advance.
And on another note, asking for a bit of help, I'm not sure if my arcade has OBG, or Extra, I swear the title screen says Extra, but the Marquee says OBG, and I never look at the title screen anymore, so, is there an easy way that I could remember? (Song wise?)

Okay idiot, if the screen says Extra than it's Extra. It shouldn't be very hard to figure that out.

We will find out why this is true with the ultimate experiments!

Experiment #1: Go into your arcade and see if it says Extra on the screen. This might be a tough one.

Experiment #2: Write a new name on the marquee and see if the game changes any.

These are fun experiments and will help you find out what game your arcade has.

Acomplishments!!

S - An Interesting View / Visit Seoul - Hard - 2x
A - Lazenzca, Save Us - Hard

I can't pass Caution/Don't Bother Me nor Turkey March, and these weren't that high of levels. I could pass a few other Lv. 6 songs on Hard but I don't remember what they were. I know I passed Black Cat and I got half-way through Space Fantasy on hard.

Any other songs on par with An Interesting View that I should play?

And what is the difference between the two Final Auditions? (I mean, on the PREX, I see two songs both entitled Final Audition. I also know that there is FA II, and a FA III, so don't even bring those up.)

Thanks

Like I wanted to drive back to the arcade (a nice 45 min drive mind you) just to look at a title screen? No, would you? If so, you are an idiot. So asking for where I can find song lists was a much easier way for me to remember what version they have.

What the hell does not looking at the title screen have to do with being retarded? Do you look at the title screen every single time you play any game ever made, just to make sure that the right game is in the cabinet when you know it is right? Shut the fuck up.

There are 3: 2 that sound almost Identical, 1 that sounds like a PARANOiA escapee. The 2 are FA and Fa 2. FA is the one with the redish marks on a black background and FA2 has green instead. FA2 sounds like a dark mix of the original. The only differences is that FA is available on Normal and Hard and FA2 is available on Hard and Crazy. Both FAs have almost identical steps on hard, but the songs end at different times, meaning that the ending set is different.

FAE1 is a force to be reckon with. It is a LVL 9 on Hard, and it plays a lot like a 8 foot heavy on DDR. There are some parts that step out like Healing Vision and HV Angelic. If you can A or AA those on DDR, you'll be in great shape to beat it on hard. Oh and watch out for those pivots in the guitar riffs.

Songs that are on par might be All I want for Christmas or Rolling Christmas. Monkey Magic is just...weird. Take On Me has a lot of Rapid Runs at 169. Loner is ranked at lvl 8, so that's outta the picture. Taiji Boys songs might be on par, as with Mambo #5. Wayo Wayo could be too hard, but it is a 6. Definatly don't do Extravaganza, Final Audition Episode 1, Mr. Larpus, She Likes Pizza (230 bpm!) and Loner.
