Hey! a lot of players on this forum gave me good advice/comments about my sketches of DDR players and stuff... and I know it's been done before but I love drawing and DDR so I finally put them together and made my own comic--

Comments & criticism are welcome! I'd love t know what other DDR players think, but please be nice...

it's a story about a bunch of people who love DDR at a huge tournament-- loosely based on me and people I know. I hope to keep drawing it so I can get better with painting too. (it's good practice)

thanks everybody! I'm glad to hear it-- I have the scripts for the chapters all written out so now I'll be drawing new pages and updating every week or so.

I'm moving back to Japan in July so I hope to have the whole thing finished before then (although who knows! busy times, na)

btw, Kel, you look like Candy?! awesome, cause uh... so do I

! But I can't call myself Candy around here because another girl got that name before me... it caused LOTS of confusion after the last tourney I went to

However CANDY* in my comic will rock out!

Here's a punch in the face for people who say that comics/movies and DDR doesn't mix. Anything works well together with a little creativity and dedication.

thanks everybody for support! I'm stoked about it now...

BUT chapter 1 isn't finished yet... each chapter is about 32 pages. Dyna and Pict have to resolve their issue and I still have the rest of the characters to introduce...

(tenkay = ten people-- my friend kinda compared it to Road Rules or something because it shows the same thing from different people's perspectives.) The next pages are already drawn and I have to scan and add the text-- I'm really happy to hear some people like it.

Plus it makes me DDR harder... I did Max300 heavy about a zillion times so I could see the screens before they said FAILED

I want to play better so I can draw it better-- yoroshiku!

Ichijyouji-- those'll work great

btw, DJ Travieso-- I'm making it as much like Spring Break in Hawaii as I can but I kinda took some artistic with some of the locations because there's no Denny's close enough to UHM to walk

Hai, Younger Makoto. Many times when my friends draw me, they have me in my comfortable pants, a comfortable, sometimes long sleeve, sometimes short, sometimes long with short over it, and I AWLAYS have my blue sunglasses!

Although, my first pair broke when I was at work and they slipped off the top of my head when I looked up to put something away, so now I have oval ones, and they're still blue, but... I want my old ones back!

Oh well, so yeah, Candy and I look pretty similar. Maybe you and I do?

Oh, another thing... I hope those pictures help. Like I said, anytime you feel like it. Arigato gozaimasu!

and Ichijyouji-- My first pair of blue glasses fell off during a parade! I got them back but they aren't them same now... I have new blue glasses and also pinks ones too. Candy's aren't sunglasses though-- they have my prescription in them.
