Cry out extra is vastly overrated. I beat it today.. the only challenging part is the immediate end.
I got my buttocks handed to me on J-tekno 2 extra, and thats rated lower (NOTE: I CAN BEAT IT ON DUAL SHOCK THOUGH  )

Did you mean see me holding the controller or something? If so you can see me with my asc and supa with his small pop'n controller on that page he linked to above....

I don't think it was too bad. I had heard it's tough going from the official to the ASC but when SMBU got it I was able to pass most of the songs I could do on my controller on his as well. Of course his is just damn sexy, I can't wait til mine gets here.
