Edit: Oh wait, then there's Dynamite Rave and Look to the Sky too... This is weird. I'm gonna go count the spaces under the unlocks today... |
I'm also under the impression that Brilliant 2U - Orchestrated Groov does not have an Oni course with its Oni steps yet. Someone mind correcting me if I am wrong?
So I still think there's yet another Oni course out there for us. I can't quite think of any Nonstop courses with specific choice for Oni steps. _________________

I dunno... If Konami's trying to shock us again, it'll be pretty tough after seeing oni steps for Survivor Max on the Legend oni... _________________

My speculation is that Home Version course will be unlocked in the next unlock code, as part of the final Internet Ranking. There are 16 new Onis, 4 per ranking, which leaves us 4 left for the last IR. If there's another IR, 3 more nonstops will probably accompany it. Konami's gotta save something new in there.
... although, the Home Version course being customizable sounds like a very sweet idea |

I'm so excited that Sakura is playable now on it's own. I love that song! _________________

heres my speculation:
i believe that the home version nonstop course WILL be customizable. Every other Arcade DDR Mix that featured nonstop had a way to customize it on a home version. I think the next unlock code will give us 28, 29, and 30.... 28 (which has 3 spots) Will be Dynamite Rave (DBSM) Look To THe Sky (TCM) and Trip Machine Survivor. 29 (Which Has 2) will be Paranoia Survivor and Paranoia Survivor MAX, and 30 (3 spots) WIll Be LoM, DDR, and the mods (brake, fuwa fuwa, .5, and .25) Thats just what i think, im just guessing. _________________

I honestly don't think we're gonna get the mods as an unlock... just doesn't look like it.
Also... anyone else notice that they misspelled my name on the main page? _________________

Wow, possibilities. Imagine four edited step patterns in a row! One could come up with some pretty brutal stuff... _________________

Gahhh . . . I was hoping to beat Xenon before it was unlocked . . . .
Oh well, at least I beat both Sakuras before it was unlocked (had to use the glitch to get Sakura heavy though ^___^ ) |

I don't think the mods will be unlocked simply because I don't think they could be used all the time. Do you really think the system could handle bag .25x break? _________________

Just an observation from last night -
If you've heard Sakura before and know where the tempo changes are, the Heavy steps are really not what I'd consider a 10. There's one section that's iffy, but everything else comes very naturally.
Don't get me wrong, they fit the song very well - and they're fun - but they're not blow-your-mind hard the first time you see them like (insert whichever 10 footer you find hardest here). _________________

Yeah, I know. I almost beat them my first try in the bugged Legend oni... I mean, no 10 should be easy enough to almost oni the first try. If it hadn't been for the speed changes, I think I would have gotten it.
Still, it's nice and fast, and although the steps are straightforward, they are consistant. A low 10a, or pretty high 9c. _________________

Loads of potential during the parts with the "dun di-di-dun di-di-dun di-di-dun" shamisen in the background. Do they do anything with it? No. Great drumrolls, especially at the very beginning. Do they do anything with that? Still no.
And then they throw in 1/8th runs and long 1/4 note streams for no apparent reason.
