I just started playing doubles today and WHOA man, is it ever different from regular IIDX. A WHOLE new ball game. I love it. =D

Right now: I am working on 3 and 4 stars. Is the grading any different from doubles? I've already AA'ed "I Was The One". O_o;;

I finally passed my first flashing 7. Giudecca, man that's actually not to bad for a flashing. I mean, I still can't do Holic. Oh well, my goal this week was to do my first flashing 7 so I don't get too far behind of my friends. Can anyone else reccomend any easy flashing 7s? I can almost do abstract.....

Well, I'm up to 4 and 5 star songs on L7 now. I played Diamond Jealousy just for the hell of it, thinking it'd rip me a new one, and I wasn't even paying attention to my gauge. At the end of the song I glanced down and pow, 96%. My jaw hit the floor, which kinda hurt since it had to through the card table. But hey, I'm that much closer to no longer being an "L... 7... WEEEENIIIEEEE!!"

IIDX is starting to get annoying...

I had to use training mode for 20 minutes just to pass Yesterday (L7),

and then it took me like an HOUR in training mode to do Wow Wow 70's (L7)

All one handed, i dunno i just dont feel comfortable using two hands.

I've been playing for two days - am I supposed to get pwned this early? E4.gif

This is all on 6th Style home ver. , btw

If you play w/2 hands you will probably progress faster. IIDX is easier if you use 2 hands.

I know it's easier if i use two hands, but it just feels awkward, I always lose my placement on the keys.

I only play L7 for songs I want to play, but can't beat on 7key (like V) or if I'm trying to pass somthing with random+mirror hard mode.

I need a break from IIDX, it's getting too frustrating.

It depends on the song. Wargame [7], for example, is much easier if you just let one hand stick to all the scratching while the other deals with the notes. Same with certain parts of Love Generation, Love Me Do, Route 80s, B4U, etc.

Additionally, if you use one hand to practice whenever possible, you will overall progress faster. The more you can handle with one hand, the more you'd be able to handle with two, eh? Also, the more you can do with one hand, the more you can do while doing complex scratching.

Yes. I remember when I had to use training mode to pass Take Me Higher and Vienna on L7 laugh.gif.

I played survival L7 on 4th style yesterday, almost all one handed. It actually helped my normal playing out a lot! I'm in the middle of a IIDX growth spurt right now (TROGDOR! I can pass 7s, many without easy mode!) so I usually stay away from light 7, but I suck too much to pass some songs I like (Colors radio edit, Theme of Denjin J, Rottel-da-sun) so I use it for those at home.

Umm...er...
I'm inclined to think there's a lot of harder stuff than Colors on L7 that you must be able to do if you can pass Fly Away...

2 days?
Geez. It took me at least 2 weeks to get to that point. E15.gif

Gah. My controller is pissing me off.

Not even cleaning helps anymore. I tried sanding a bit, but it didn't do much.

It's getting so bad that I'm failing stuff like Flowtation and Holic. I usually FC those. -_-

What could I do, short of getting a new controller?

Skip 5th and get 4th Styles...more of the good songs are in 6th styles (Which you have)

Whichever style has Ride on the Light.
And whichever one has Radical Faith, too.

I can't remember which style/styles those are on, though. =/
