no its just you. | V without autoscratch would probably be more fun, but first I have to learn to deal with those annoying constant 1/16th note parts. Once I can pass the song autoscratch, then I'll start working on it with the scratching. That probably will be quite a while. =/ _________________

You should just forget about using auto-scratch at all. It's better to learn to play without using from the beginning, that way you won't even think about using it once you become better at the game.
I remember one time a long time ago i tried playing QQQ 7key and i almost passed it using auto-scratch. I was going to keep trying the song using auto-scratch, but i went back to playing normally using turntable instead. Well i didn't pass the song for awhile, but now i pass QQQ [A] w/the turntable. My advice to you is forget auto-scratch even exists. _________________

My advice for V without scratching is to do the parts that involve scratching one handed.
I assume you're mainly talking about the 1/8 notes with scratching in between the 1/16s?
Since those are always side-by-side notes on the same row, they're relatively easy to get down withe one hand. Try it in Training mode, or even just while you're waiting for the game to load. After a while, it makes the song a lot easier. |

Pretty much the opposite. I decided to try Sakura L7 one day. So I go through the game and pick Sakura as my last stage. I get ready, the music starts, and I see a bunch of blurry crap where there should be notes. OOPS! Looks like this is a 300 BPM song and I forgot to turn off HS2! I lit a cigarette, stepped back, and watched the hilarity ensue.
I used to get pissed off a lot when I started playing though. "GOD DAMMIT Sana Mollete Ne Ente BLT Style L7 I will defeat you!" Hehe.. it's funny to think back to when I sucked even more than I do now. _________________

I usually throw temper tantrums when I almost pass that one song I've been trying for a week. Like when I kept ending Get on Beat (wild style) with a 76%. _________________

I get quite angry when I forget to re-set my options when I turn on 4th Style.
Mr. T (Another) Normal Play. God, that's happened to me so many times (I like to warm up with Mr. T). |

I hate 76% and 78%. With a passion. Got them on G2 many occasions, Summer Vacation too. And B4U[A]. Arghhh.
If I had any less self control, I'd have a broken IIDX controller by now, so I almost go into tantrums. |

Sometimes, when I play R5 [L], I screw up this last part, in which you must alternate beween the first 2 white keys while pressing some others. It pisses me off knowing I've full-comboed this part in the past.
Once, I was on Dynamite Rave [L] at the arcade, could barely read the screen, got pissed, and struck the floor with my bag. |

I mysteriously figured out how to do those annoying constant 1/16th note runs... and not just in V, but in general. No more V auto-scratch in the future!
I also got a 76% in xenon... but something about those constant 1/16th-parts are weird, and I keep messing up... anyone have any insights into what's "weird" about it?
EDIT: And what's up with IIDX ratings anyway? xenon is a flashing 7? The Outer Limits is a 6? WTF? _________________

Well Xenon is harder than the outer limits although only by a bit though. | I played xenon like three times, and I got a 76% on the third try and could probably pass it with another couple of tries.
The Outer Limits completely destroys me every time.
However, those 1/16th runs in xenon still seem awkward somehow compared to V and Love Generation. Anyone have any insights? _________________
