If you watch the unlock screen, you can plainly see that a number of them *do* double up. I believe unlock #30 has either 2 or 3 unlocks listed under it.

If I remember it correctly from watching the list, #28 has two, #29 has two, and #30 has three.

So now that there are slower speed mods on the machine, are any of them available to select outside of the oni courses? ive heard that .25 and .5 are used, but can you select them on the options screen or maybe are they unlocks?

They are currently not selectable, and nobody knows yet if there is a future unlock that will make them that way.

I'm guessing it will be unlock 28. My hypothesis is Puwapuwa (from the Trick oni) is 27, the 2 scroll speeds are 28 (there's two things for 28), and the 4 Survivors and 2 Extra Stages will be 29 & 30 (3 things each). Konami always saves the best for last

four survivors? i count only three: trip machine survivor, paranoia survivor, and paranoia survivor max.

So, as an Arcade attendant, who has a DDR Extreme machine where he works, but isn't quite the DDR Extremist (ha ha! a funny!) like many others, but also wants those who come to play DDR to have the most enjoyment, I'm guessing I don't even need to bother with all of these excess codes, right?

Like the one that unlocks 1 - 15 is good enough, correct? I've seen all of these threads with other codes that unlock 1 - 6, or 6 - 9 and I probably don't need those, do I since there's one that just jumps the gun and opens up 1 - 15. As I'm not a manager with the keys to the machine, I'll have to beg and plead with head office to do it for us, but I'm trying to get all the info I can because my guess is, they wouldn't know what to do.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, for now you just need that one. It's just that the earlier codes that unlock fewer things were released first. In a couple weeks, they'll release another one that does 1-18 or something like that.

The step charts for all this new stuff (including the Oni steps for B2U OG [twist twist twist]) are all over the Japanese step chart site.

A friend of mine played both on Saturday, failed on Sakura in the oni but finished IIDX Boss.

Sakura on .5 just looks freaky, you don't get the feel of it unless the arrows are moving at the high bpm. Xenon is just a pink mess according to the chart.

Sakura is NOT easy. Expecially on .5. I always fail at the slowdown part. Xenon i found easier. But that's just me.

It's a lot easier if you've gotten used to the tempo changes playing it on IIDX.

(In my case, playing it on light7 on IIDX.)
