I don't think there's been any info about 7th Style CS.

I'm 99.9% that August thing is just a rumor. Half of me hopes it is, the other half hopes it's not.

Easy mode is for wusses.

The Safari isn't looking quite as impossible as it was before. I managed to break 80% during the course of the song several times, and I finished with about 30% once.

IDK, but I know that I am about pissed off about the release date of 7th NSC. Was supposed to be out in April, then I heard it wasnt going to be released, now its supposed to be out in August. OKOKOKOK, youre killing me here, all I want to do is play Burning Heat, or Tommorow Perfume here in the comfort of my home!!! Just because 6th Style didnt sell well doesnt mean that you(Konami) has to make us IIDX fans suffer.

I think Konami now has an obligation to release every style IIDX on PS2 with a reasonable amount of time in between. They made the awesome game............so its up to them to release it(on PS2). Its not like this one series will put them out of business if released on PS2.

Oh yeah............EASY mode sucks. It should never be used.

6th style probably doesn`t sell well because you can`t find it anywhere! Same with IIDX controllers, few and far between (even in denden town and akihabara.. I think it`s easier to find a N64 DD system).

OK OK OK, I think we have all forgotten one thing...............playing IIDX in an arcade is the only reason to use EASY mode. I admit that the last time I was in TX and played a 4th style in a Cyberstation, that I did use Easy mode only for the reasons PongAtari described.

But playing at home is a different story because there is no money to waste and no reputation to be lost, so IIDX NSC=No Easy Mode.

IIDX NSC+Easy Mode= Wuss

Yeah. This is why I stopped playing DDR a long time ago. My sentiment is, if I don't enjoy the songs in a music game, why should I even play? Of course... I have yet to try DDREx... so perhaps I may change my mind...

edit: as for the question at hand. I never use easy mode not even at the arcade. If you can pass a song then you can pass a song and if you can't then you can't. You shouldn't need to use easy mode at all, although i do admit when i first started playing iidx i did use easy mode. Although, sometimes at home i do use hard mode(or change the difficulty to hard on older styles) just to see what songs i am still able to pass.

I pretty much just stick to normal difficulty though.

Yeah, hard mode can be really challenging, although somehow I have managed to pass a few 7's (7key) on hard mode. Although some stuff is just too hard. Many of the anothers I fail although i haven't tried hard in awhile, so i may be better now. Hopefully.
