Would you say that if I play both 5-key and IIDX and I have a Official Konami IIDX Controller that I should also get a DJ Pro Station to play the 5-key since the IIDX is kinda tight for 5key or should the IIDX one be fine? _________________

I'm a little confused by what you mean. I'm not sure why you wouldn't just use your IIDX con. if you were going to play 5-key... |

The keys seem kinda tight together, but maybe it's just because im still just learning anyways.
Does anyone know about how big the konami home pop'n music controller is? (Not the $300 arcade style one) _________________

How exactly are people modding their Official Konami IIDX Controllers to make the more sensitive? _________________

There's rubber under the keys, rip that out, and leave it empty. Supposedly it makes them more sensitive (sp?). I never have had a problem with my official one, I've had it for about 7 months. My key did stick, but I just cleaned it, and wam it was fine. _________________

Has anyone played on this controller yet? You can find it at http://www.japanvideogames.com Its only $30 so that makes me kinda suspicious. |

Which controllers are rare/desirable?
Of course, the arcade style controllers
IIDX (normal) controllers are hard to come across in Japan (seems like they`re easy enough to get from import shops).
Konami Guitar Freaks controller (I think)
Konami Drum Mania controller? I came across one of these in a shop the other day and was wondering if it`s rare/worth picking up. What`s the usual price for one of these? _________________

while for most people who have the Konami IIDX controller, have the problem of the keys sticking. So some people make mods to eliminate that. There some instructions in the IIDX official FAQ on one mod that works pretty well. |
I cannot find it can someone please link me to the page? I would really like to mod my Konami IIDX controller. Someone said something about ripping the rubber out of behind the buttons but then what would make the connection since the little black thing would be gone? _________________

Does anyone know anywhere that currently stocks the Konami GF controllers? I really want to play Guitar Freaks, and it would be playable on my PSX (no JPS2 yet).
Also, how good is the official guitar controller? I was concerned about the "struming" on it, does it start to wear out or get less responsive after a while, it seems that since it is used so much that it might not last too well.
Thanks. |

I know this is probably a stupid question, but does the IIDX Konami ArcadeStyle controller let you move the buttons so that the stratcher can be moved to left or the right?

Yep. You push the key-pad out from behind the controller and flip it around to switch between 1P and 2P. |

jmo: the only place that carries official GF controllers (last i checked, himeya has be sold out for a few months..) is http://toysnjoys.com ...they jacked the price up to 90$ now, but get em while they're hot. there is occasionally, and i stress occasionally, an official one popping up on ebay. _________________
